There were also Catholic kids on the Lab side throwing shite and threatening our players on the sideline. Stop the holier than thou routine. I was there.

First, I don't have a dog in the fight, I'm not a graduate or have kids at either school.
Second, if this is true why didn't the Lab school admin or even parents do something?

You’re gonna need to be specific here. I was also there and didn’t see any of that. The Uhigh contingent crossed the line, it wasnt just the players on the field acting like that.. it was students and a couple coaches. The fact that while this went on, Catholic players stood in line waiting to do the handshake is all you need to know about the control each side has with their players and students..

Did anyone ever answer why this determination was only made around week 9 of the season?
Whether U High deserved it or not, invalidating a whole season right before the playoffs is going to have lawsuits flying. Trying to blame U High for delaying the brackets probably won’t play well considering how fricking incompetent LHSAA is.

You’d have to ask the people that filed the grievance.. apparently they waited till this last week to file this.. it seems to only makes sense for probably one school as this doesn’t really help the bigger schools

This^ is the correct answer. There is no way in hell that the CHS coaches or administration would tolerate this behavior.

I am interested to see if Ron Johnson would expedite the hearing. I imagine on the bottom of the list of shite he may care about is U High football and whether they get into the playoffs.

I honestly don’t know how to apply what I know about him to this situation. If you told me it was Southern Lab or Glen Oaks instead of U High filing the appeal I could tell you how it would likely go and how fast. I can tell you who I would have sitting at the plaintiffs table with the lawyer and who I would make sure is in attendance for support.
