Going into week 2 and teams still have no idea what playoff bracket they’re going to be playing in.

yea pretty sure 99.99% of HS football players are not getting paid.and if they are NIL is legal for the maybe 2-3 kids in the state who can maybe maybe take advantage of it.

haha wasnt parkview it was redemtorist with Shelton Sampson(dad of LSU commit) that got us because of an inadverant whistle calling back a TD on the bounce pass play with 40 seconds left. they eventually lost like 14-13 to ND in the finals the next week.

Attendance zones are different than regions.
The attendance zones for private schools under the LHSAA are completely arbitrary and in no way reflect the homes of the majority of their student population.
A kid can live one mile from a private school and be outside of their attendance zone.

I heard on Sportsline that we’re gonna have 8 championships, and instead of the obvious 5 nonselect and 3 select, they want to make 4 and 4

They may seem arbitrary, but the rule book defines private schools’ attendance zones as the attendance zone of the public school’s that they’re located in

Brackets just dropped. Looks like 24 for Select across the board and 28 for non-select across the board.
