My apologies, I don’t know how I forgot about Chalmettes greatest team ever. I do admire how you constantly pump up your Alma Matter every year as if athletes will be miraculously be deposited into St. Bernard parish. I feel sorry for the kids though. Knowing that their AD every year will schedule 3 rent a wins before they lose every remaining game. That has to wear you down psychologically. Oh well there is always Crave after the game is over.

Don’t blame you one bit. I’ve backed off the political part of it almost entirely. It just kept me angry all the time. I’d rather be oblivious.

ND would never whoop LCA they’ve had a couple competitive games but there’s a reason LCA is 5-1 when they play. LCA won last year 41-7. Every year ND says they are gonna beat LCA and they’ve only done it once in 2024 during the regular season, and when they met up the same year in the playoffs LCA won when it mattered.

McDonogh 35, Kenner Discovery and Jefferson Rise each have 0-3 records. Attempts to contact the LHSAA and coaches or administrators at all three schools were not immediately successful.

Every year?
Last two years we were 4-0 and 2-2 in district.
For years before that we were in the horrible JP district

Far from it… I just like to call out the Chalmette lovers on here for their incessant hyping of Chalmette every year as if they are some team of the ages. Only to amount to nothing every single year. You would think supporters of the program would press the administration to do what it takes to provide an actual competitive program, not one who can only make the playoffs when they were playing in the worst district in the state.

We’re probably going to make it from the Catholic League this year
(Yeah I know, 28 out of 36 make it and that helps our chances if we’re 3-7, but we didn’t ask for that rule change. Take that up with the state.)

You are probably right that 3 wins gets you in due to riding the coattails of other teams…. Unfortunately, you will get slaughtered in the first round. Moral Victories

We’re about even with Northshore and Slidell and we know what they’ve did against Jesuit and HC. The top of the Northshore district matches up well with the bottom of the Catholic League.

No one gets Ruston in round 1. They’re going to get a bye and I assume a top 4 seed
I projected we’d get somebody between 5-8. That would be a good team but it wouldn’t be Ruston. I already saw this movie when we won two road games to go to the quarterfinals, with the same coach and the same QB two years ago.
