This is a good matchup on paper, but I don't see it going in Catholic's favor at all. They can make some plays on defense to keep it respectable. But they need some better QB play. He just doesn't have any experience and it shows.

I will say that we have coaches who are cautiously optimistic for tomorrow night… we won’t have trouble in the Catholic League because of our QB, kicking game, or coaching.
However we’ll probably have trouble because of everything else. Our size and speed at every position will have trouble matching up against 6 of the top 10 teams in the state.
Our hope is that we can get up to beat Holy Cross, and then we’ll be guaranteed into the state playoffs at 4-6, as a team nobody in nonselect wants, then we can try to make another run like we did two years ago.
But if we match up to the rest of the district, there’s no reason why we can’t be the second best team in nonselect, which in that case, we’re coming Ruston, and we’d have home field advantage in the Dome. (That’s probably why we’re here and not playing Warren Easton, Bonnabel, etc.)

Notre Dames OL has a few massive guys. 2A schools all will have trouble hokding up to them. Solid qb as well.
