Why wouldn’t they? I think it’s a pretty sure bet they finish top 4. After them nonselect 5A is wide open. Almost anyone could come out and make the Dome like we’ve seen with Central and Ouachita (and win it if it’s like them two)

Hope springs eternal, I know we are used to The Rant where everyone constantly craps on their team… but real fans tend to have hope and upsell their team… even if it may be a bit irrational.

Chalmette high has nicer facilities than anyone else in the CL and some of the nicest in the metro area. But some people here will still send their kids to a catholic school because they went to a catholic school.
Maybe in 15-20 years that dies out.

6 out of 7 district opponents are in the top 10. That’s not the average experience in class 5A. In a way, it sets us apart.
I’m excited to go into the nonselect bracket hopefully after seeing where we stand.

Problem is you have 7 district games. You go 4-6/3-7 and you might not make the playoffs at all. Because it's a zero sum game and with only 3 out of district games, those won't be 8-9 point losses in the power points.
Also, it's a big misconception that Ouachita came out of nowhere last year. They were #1 in the power rankings going into district. They lost to ASH, Ruston, and Neville by 1 score and lost to us by 13, but lead in the 4th. They were always one of the best teams in the division last year.

We got our power points already
Karr, Curtis, and St. Aug absolutely will be 8-10 point losses
28 out of 36 make it in nonselect and pretty much 5 different districts will have a bottom feeder or two.

I didn't realize there are only 36 teams. You should easily make the playoffs. Once you're in, it's just about getting hot at the right time.

West Monroe faces a good Central team. Probably a high scoring game. Central QB has been offered by Nichols on the next level. Central has some good plyers on both sides of the ball.
West Monroe wins 49-31

LOL ND has never said they gonna beat LCA. Nice try though. LCA has so many more athletes than ND does.
