We won my junior year in 97 on a goal line stop at the end, my senior year y’all beat us pretty good.

Yeah I’m a little younger than you… haven’t seen us play Franklinton yet, though maybe that’s coming since you have our former coach Salt… I’ve been to Bogalusa a few times

What happened at the end?

U High scored in first play of OT; slant route TD reception. Missed PAT, shanked to the right.

CHS overtime possession:

First and goal from 10: 1 yard run to left; face mask penalty on U High; half distance to the goal and auto first down.

First and goal from 5: CHS false start.

First and goal from 10: CHS false start.

First and goal from 15; long snap count; CHS OL jumped but not called, then another CHS OL jumped and flagged. .

First and goal from 20: confusion led to CHS time out; then pass to slot down field in tight coverage, U High safety with INT.

Not to be that guy, but, in LA high school, face mask isn't an automatic first down. It would have been a live ball penalty, replay first down.

Did Catholic's QB1 get hurt? Noticed on the highlights #15 was QB early and #13 was QB late. #6 ran wildcat often.

STM not good on offense. Acadiana shut them out their touchdown came on defense

I’d like to know when was the last time STM didn’t score an offensive touchdown? They used to score at will.

Good win for the Rebs. Shreveport area continues to struggle vs NELA teams.

Not to derail this thread but has anyone ever seen a worse football team in Louisiana than last years Gueydan Bears?

Correct only auto first downs are from “roughing” fouls. There is chatter the federation will add DPI

Does high school not have the rule that only the fumbling player can advance a fumble on 4th down?

Btw it wasn’t 4th down

1st down sack
Chalmette penalty
2nd down back to original line of scrimmage
The touchdown happened on 3rd down… scoreboard was wrong

Acadiana had the ball with a chance to tie the game at the end you stupid frick. Winning by a touchdown isn’t exactly an arse kicking. I wasn’t that impressed. The QB was amazing but if he gets hurt y’all are fricked.

Uhigh acted like complete trash at the end. Throwing helmets and fans and players rushing the field to taunt Catholic students. None of it surprising with the current UHigh

Uhigh’s culture is broken all the way down to middle school. No way I would send a kid there today. Ghetto or woke- nothing in between.

This. Very much this, UHigh is a nuisance to LSU campus and now the school is turning to shite.

Catholic had 1st and goal from the 5. Couple of decent runs and they win with extra point. Catholic QB injured knee and back up seems scared to throw.

Calm down man I was joking. CE Byrd is my team. I have no affiliation with Ruston, just like to see north La teams do good. Besides he got hurt against yall and didn’t play last week and they skull dragged a good team out of Arkansas

I would really like to know which ones. Kind of hard to beat 0-10 and only scoring 18 points ALL year.

Gueydan Bears

That was last season. The mighty Gueydan Bears already have a victory this season over North Central (Lebeau).

I nominate Plain Dealing. They haven’t won a game since 2021.

I feel sorry for these very small schools that routinely get blown out 45-0 by other very small schools. They can barely field a team, most have terrible coaching, yet kids still choose to put on pads in the August heat knowing they are in for a long match through a terrible season.
