Denham won game 2 today. 8-1. Pitcher had a no hitter in the 7th and gave up a 2 out bunt single

Central beat parkway twice today to advance and will play Zachary next week. Can’t wait to beat the brakes off of little brother across the comite.

South Lafourche advances beating Riverdale 9-8 in the bottom of the 7th.

South Lafourche wins Game 3 9-8 after losing Game 2 2-1 against Riverdale.
Game 3 was a back and forth battle with the lead changing and game tied several times.

The pressure of the playoffs showed in game 3 as the teams combined for 11 errors after having a total of only 4 combined in the first two games.
Great series. SL just had a little more pitching to close it out.
SL advances to the quarterfinals for the first time ever and hosts West Ouachita Friday and Saturday.

West Ouachita has a senior pitcher commuted to La Tech and a junior one committed to LSU. Should be a good series.

They will definitely be a challenge for SL hitters. SL has a very balanced offense with a team on-base average of over .400 and no easy outs in the lineup. The top two pitchers are very good high school pitchers with very good strikeout to walk ratios.
Hard for it to be as close as 3 1-run games with 2 walk-off wins, but should be a good one.

I don't know. Sam Houston beat Dutchtown 10-0 or something earlier this season. Though Dutchtown's playing good ball right now after going on the road to beat Mandeville and sweep Northshore.
