Don't give your kids ridiculous names if you don't want anyone joking about it
HAHAHAH, I dont have any children named any on list, nor does either of my kids names start with "Da", "Ja", have a Y or X in it. Good try though.

LSU football has a kid named Dacoldest being recruited, WTF is that? Oh a 7 on 7 name right? get the F out of here with the kid name jokes. If its Arkansas based, then they are named Bob, Tim, etc.

aren't the rules changed now to where kids attending a school inside the boundary of a LL program can use the school's address for eligibility and they give waivers for kids living in an area with no little league or not attending school in zone?

I do not care where or what school in the same district they pull kids from. My OPINION is you should be able to get more talented kids for any region or state. All star players are standouts in LEAGUE play, but are typically AA, AAA, talent. Every now and again you see a MAJOR player in the LL games, but not usually. I am saying this for all teams across AMERICA, not just those Louisiana boys.

In all it is still fun for them to play on this level and that is what it is all about. GO LOUISIANA!!!!!!

It's basically a travel ball team that was put together to try and make it to Williamsport

Then whomever put this team together did a horrible job or that parish has some weak travel teams. You know since the teams must be of kids from same parish, "LEGALLY". GO LOUISIANA!
I wish I had a dollar for every time I’ve heard those false allegations. Tigers do not charge for tryouts, they ask for a deposit on acct which is applied to your balance IF your son makes the team. Money is returned if you choose not too accept a spot or do not make the cut. Also on players from other states (except south Mississippi) is not true. Upper Louisiana most definitely. I guess the people that make those statements have a child that was not good enough to make the major teams or Didn’t see a lot of playing time and quit. Only the 13-14major teams really travel and we mean travel to Southaven, Atlanta, Florida. Those same accusations about the number of players is ridiculous due to the amount of pitching needed to perform at those events. The other travel ball teams that do this (large rosters, multiple parish/county players) are never bashed. Haters gonna hate!

He doesn’t play with the Tigers. Forbes and McClure’s sons, Trey and Tanna, started and coach a different organization.

Wrong again, Forbes has a son on 14AAA Tigers. Yes he is his step-son, but I was right, you

were wrong. Forbes also has a son on Pelicans, which Trey and Tanna started. High school coaches cannot be involved with travel ball, :usa: It goes on all across the state.

I’m guessing whoever threw the fit and ran off Forbes has a son that...

So they literally went and got their travel ball coach?

And you guessed wrong. Forbes son plays in the Tiger organization. You obviously do not know his history with Central Athletics nor anything about travel ball.
I bet every realtor in Central is swamped today

No kid in high school. I enjoy the competitive spirit of the game though.

Actually, very knowledgeable on the game. Unlike you, I rather not comment on every topic or post in TD.

Just kicking off the new year and wanting to hear what others are seeing out there. How is your districts doing this early part of the year?

He was thinking you were looking for a hunting lease in the hood.

Got it, sorry. Hunted years ago and now starting to get the itch again since boys are a little older.

I am looking for something above EBR parish, like West Fel. or even in South Mississippi. Does that help?
