For all the attention he's getting in training camp and preseason, it's impossible to live up to the media hype. They kind of did this to themselves. If he excels, it's a good story years later of a low-round draft pick. I hope he does well because nobody enjoys seeing subpar QB play unless it's against your favorite team.

But again, preseason. I'd like to know a little more how the other QBs picked ahead (or after) him are doing too and I haven't seen much talked about.

I’m not crowning him but I am rooting for him.

If he keeps playing like he isn’t overwhelmed then he’s gonna be just fine

I think Gabriel gets cut and SS makes the roster

Adding Jaxson Dart's #legendary 12/19 154 yards 1 TD (so far) performance against the Bills.

This was an incredibly stupid thread to make, and you make everyone who doesn’t think Shadeur is the second coming of Brady/Manning look like idiots

That's why it's derangement syndrome. They're losing their minds now because he's not the absolute trash they have been saying he is the last four months.

I remember you defending Milroe just as vehemently, even when he was playing like complete arse for most of the season.

Sanders nut huggers are just as bad as the guys hating on him for no real reason.

One which was really risky and should have been picked if the defender had any awareness.

I kept watching the replay wondering why people were losing their mind at the throw. It was a decent throw but a bad decision. A good defense intercepts that.

What if he did below average?
You think he had a below average game for a 1st ever nfl action?

Do you also remember two separate coaching staffs picking Milroe as starter?

Let me guess all those rave reviews of Milroe in Seahawks training camp is only because the team will revolt against ownership if they don't hype him?

No one is hugging that guy except Mel. You guys are just so damn extreme you feel anyone who isn't as extreme as you is a "nut hugger".

You guys have been crying about how bad Sheduer is, how he wasn't good enough to be drafted, etc... no instead of having an ounce of accountability you want to name call.

I don't think it's hate. I don't think it's racism. I think it's only tangentially his daddy.

If you haven't noticed, this is a pretty conservative forum, and not just in the Political Talk cesspool.

I would imagine that the majority of people here would raise their hands in the affirmative to liking their athletes humble and not loquacious, liking them to be athletes rather than culture influencers or brands and liking them to achieve their success by working up the ladder rather than being anointed by the media the first time they fart.

Again, I'm not a Cleveland Browns fan, so I am not invested in the least whether he makes it or doesn't make it. If he does, more power to him. If he doesn't, he won't be alone in the history of the NFL.

See this is the shite I’m talking about..ONE preseason game and you have this going on. It’s absurd. Whether he’s the next franchise QB or bust, that is an insane post by Nike

Nike doesn’t give a frick about accuracy. It’s about marketability and making money. Y’all getting so angry and reposting and such is exactly why they did it

The funny part is you still don't realize it's actual old billionaires milking his popularity due to his father's name....

You aren't mad at them though

Nike is interested in nothing but selling a bunch of shoes in the short term.
