Russilo nailed this. This is a 30 second quote made after a finals loss, and people will dissect it as something that Lebron pondered on for days. It is hilarious. Him and adnan were actively making fun of people for thinking this was a story

Eh that's a shitty excuse for James tbh. Spurs in 2013 weren't saying shite like this after losing to the Heatles in heartbreaking fashion.

It's sour grapes from Bron, and hypocritical on top of that.

In his quote he is asked a question regarding the super teams

He vertabim says I haven't been on a super team

Then he verbatim says we are a super team in Cleveland

Nothing makes any sense

i agree with him. Miami was far from unbeatable while he was there. They had that one crazy streak where they won like 20+ games in a row, but they also had stretches where they looked bad for a bunch of games.

GS would've crushed LeBron's Miami teams. Also, any team that considers Kevin Love a major piece on a championship level team is not a super team.

I applaud your efforts with this argument, but when you have 3 of the top 10/15 players on your team that was orchestrated because of you, it's a super team.

Lebron is on a super team right now, the Cavs can be just as good as Golden State if Lebron would allow a coach to run the team. It's his insistence on doing things his way that's stopping them from being as dominant. If they would slow the game down move the ball and get away from ISO ball and Lebrons wishes they would've had a great chance at winning. Lebrons selfishness and love for his own numbers is the root cause of their downfall.

Remember that time in 1989 when Michael Jordan joined forces with Larry Bird, Magic Johnson, and Isiah Thomas ? They won like 7 consecutive NBA championships.

This. Just when you think he's turned a corner and matured, he says some dumb shite like this to remind you what a dislikeable bitch he is.

I'm not a James fan--think he gets more than his fair share of hate, though.

But when he says stuff like this he gives his haters genuine material to latch onto.

Lebron would be on a superteam if he didn't have fricking JR Smith at 2guard and Iman Shumpert on the bench

We're not going to forget about Miami.

Right. Lebron and Wade made a super team

Don't even mention Bosh because he just isn't that good

since when does a team have to sign superstars instead of draft them to be a superteam?

3 HoFs or more make you a super team. 80s Lakers and Celtics were super teams. The Spurs were a super team. The Celtics with Rondo, Ray Allen, Pierce, and KG were a super team.

Give me a break. When he was on the Heat, he was on a super team. Wade was a top 5-10 player and Bosh was a top 10-15 player.

Here is some quotes from the transcript from his interview when he announced he was going to Miami.

What was the major factor, the major reason in your decision?

I think the major factor and the major reason in my decision was the best opportunity for me to win and to win now and to win into the future also.

Why?

Like I said before, I feel like it's going to give me the best opportunity to win and to win for multiple years, and not only just to win in the regular season or just to win five games in a row or three games in a row, I want to be able to win championships. And I feel like I can compete down there.

Was it always in your plan to go and play with Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh?

Well, I mean, I'm looking forward to it. To say it was always in my plans, I can't say it was always in my plans because I never thought it was possible.

But the things that the Miami Heat franchise have done to be able to free up cap space and to be able to put themselves in a position this summer to have all three of us, it was hard to turn down.
Those are two great players, two of the greatest players we have in this game today.

I hate when people call the 04 Lakers, the 08 Celtics or the 97 Rockets super teams. You aren't a super team if the stars are on the wrong side of thirty. All of Lebrons teams had costars under 30 not players ready for one last hurray before retiring.
