LeBron signed a 4 year deal, do you want to waste 2 of those years? He'll be 36 years old in the 20-21 season.
Hell they're going to waste them anyways if they keep Lonzo and the rest of these nerds. Lebron will still be a 23/7/7 guy in 2 years and will probably still be elite in the playoffs.

You don't think they'll try to do something like trade young assets for Beal, and then sign Butler if they miss out on AD this offseason? I can't see LeBron being "okay" with playing with another subpar team this season.

This wont get better as long as Jeanie Buss is trying to run a basketball team. She needs to hire someone qualified and spend her days at the Country Club.

Lebron basically quit once his team was eliminated from playoffs this year. He’s another year older next season and I too just can’t see him playing on another mediocre Lakers team “waiting” on AD.

The timing of this article is interesting too considering Magic is scheduled to be on ESPN tonight.

It won't ever happen because she thinks she's upholding daddy's legacy when, in fact, she's running it straight into the ground.

That was a pretty damning article. Magic is jackass, but Pelinka seems like a real douche nozzle.

While cracking on how bad Magic is at both twitter and broadcasting, he said you pretty much have to watch tonight because there is no way they aren't addressing this article. Pretty predictable on ESPN's part tbh

If nothing else, the failure of that trade has made the franchise and a lot of its execs into some of the biggest punchlines in basketball.

Robert Sarver and a GM office full of goats are laughing at them being so inept.

I hope they really try to do something like that. Would be fun to watch.

I’m not holding my breath, though. Everything in L.A. has been a shite show so far. I’ll believe it’ll get better when I see it.

I would honestly prefer this over signing AD.

I would rather them keep Lonzo though. He finally started to get a decent 3pt game and is a great defender.

Ball, Josh Hart, Jimmy Butler, Lebron, Tyson Chandler is a really good defense group who can shoot 3s (besides chandler).

Wouldn't mind getting B Lopez back.

I dont think AD and Lebron really mesh TBH. Not in todays NBA. You need shooters who can defend and are quick.

Does nobody care that Lonzo has missed 65 games his first 2 years and can’t shoot a free throw as a PG?

41% FT Shooter.

For comparison, Shaquille ONeal never shot that low in his entire career, and an entire strategy about fouling poor FT shooters was named after him.

You all need to check out Jeanie Buss' Playboy photo shoot. She's still pretty attractive for a woman her age.

After reading the 3 comments after me and actually looking into it..

I have decided to change my opinion of Lonzo Ball

Still a good defender.

Ball + BI + 4th for Beal

Jimmy in FA

B Lopez in FA

a couple shooters.

What was the reading on the Richter scale when ramona shelburne stormed into the editor's office that approved this article?

So the magic spin tour is back on the road?

Wilbon and SAS, are they giving cover for a former Disney employee?

I just read this whole thing. Bruh a lot of workers today are complete pussies.

"Omg I made a mistake and Magic, who is my boss, was disappointed in me and made me feel bad. So I had to take pills and quit my job because he wanted better from me"

frick outta here. What the hell is this BS?
