Kirk Cousins is staying put in Minnesota through at least 2023.
The Vikings are signing Cousins to a one-year, $35 million fully guaranteed extension that puts him under contract through 2023, NFL Network's Tom Pelissero reported. Minnesota later announced it had agreed in principle to an extension with Cousins.

Dude is a 4th rd pick that will make 250 mil for his career despite no team ever being thrilled about having him. It's pretty impressive.

Kurt Cousin has been a long running joke.

He’s probably the epitome of he’s good enough that you probably won’t replace him with better but not good enough to lead you to playoff success.

He’s the poster child for paying the position instead of the player. Franchises who do this don’t win.

It is rather amazing that the NFL can't find 30 guys on this planet that all are well above average. It definitely lends itself to the argument that the quarterback is the toughest position to play in all of sports.

You clearly missed the joke.

He surely does have a very good agent. Prime example of an overpaid professional athlete. Jon Koncack and Albert Haynesworth think so

Chance Daniels has made definitely secured the bag for a mediocre backup QB.

If there were 30 that all had the same ability, some would lose some games and people would say they weren’t good enough

So you got both his first and last names wrong in the thread title, but correct in the the OP? Impressive.
