Largely dependent on how much explosiveness he will lose from this injury. While he had already lost some, he still had plenty left to lose.

No postseason minutes on his body and trying to make a healthy comeback will fuel him. I think he maintains the explosiveness he had. I'll drop his points a tad because I don't think he hits 46% next year.

I think he'll average 25+ only if he shoots a few more shots per game, thus bringing his FG% down to 43% or below.

You guys take this stuff way too seriously. I love Kobe. I hope he wins another ring. Calm down.

i do too....but sadly i just can't see an outcome where it's possible. unless there's another backroom deal with the NBA and Lakers in a shady trade.

Based on his recovery the last time he had knee surgery.

You sure get testy anytime someone makes a Kobe joke, which is kind of amusing with how badly you troll Lebron threads

He'll probably be slowed down by the ankle to start off the season, so I'll go conservative:

Led all shooting guards in the NBA in assist this year.

I dont think people hate on his assists. I think its more on the fact that he averages more shots than anyone every year

He has only had one season in the last 13 years in which he shot less than 20 shots a game.

Compared to Lebron and KD who both haven't averaged 20 shots per game in 3 years.

Kobe leads the league in shots pretty much every year. That is why people say he is a ballhog

Kobe's rank among all players in the NBA the last few years in shots per game:

09/10: 3rd
10/11: 2nd
11/12: 1st
12/13: 2nd

So in the same time frame as the years I showed for his assists, he has led the league in shots per game just once...not every year like you claim

quote:

Compared to Lebron and KD

Lebron's rank during those same years

09/10: 5th
10/11: 7th
11/12: 5th
12/13: 5th

quote:

KD

09/10: 4th
10/11: 3rd
11/12: 2nd
12/13: 8th

Basically each are top 5 in the league is shots

And career shots per game averages:

Kobe: 19.6
Durabt: 18.9
Lebron: 20.1

quote:

Kobe leads the league in shots pretty much every year. That is why people say he is a ballhog

Kobe's average shots per game ranks since the 98/99 season, when he became a starter:

98/99: unk, but took 15.6 per game, which would rank 24th the year before
99/00: 12th
00/01: 5th
01/02: 6th
02/03: 3rd
03/04: 9th
04/05: 4th
05/06: 1st
06/07: 1st

07/08: 2nd - (1st was Lebron)
08/09: 2nd
09/10: 3rd
10/11: 2nd
11/12: 1st
12/13: 2nd

So when you say he leads the league in average shots per game every year, you really mean he has led the league just 3 times in 15 years
