The Browns' problems are systemic.

just praying he's not the next Randy Gregory.

why would the panthers take an oline? the poster two weeks ago seemed confident the line was not an issue.
Turner and Norwell are good guards, the improvement from them isn't substantial. If you're gonna draft an OL, you better get a tackle for Cam, considering Matt Kalil is speedbump McGee.
Price would be center though right? I mean Ryan Kalil was injured, I think he's still a top 5 center healthy.

Only four Bama first rounders? Pffft

Yeah that’s kinda crazy. I don’t think his off-field issues are THAT bad. Pretty sure he’ll put up good measurables and someone will take him in the first. Too high a ceiling not to.

Walter is usually worse than Kiper this time of year. They’re pretty bad about forgetting top prospects altogether and mocking picks that make zero sense- like a running back going first overall.

hopefully the interviews can provide some clarity to what the hell is going on with him

Walter is the most accurate, no clue when they take that statistic though. Probably final mocks.

The Browns are retarded as a franchise if they don't start drafting o-linemen with extreme prejudice.

I’d take Lamar Jackson before Josh Allen.

I was thinking about this... If I were the browns, I would do this:
Draft Barkley #1 because I think he is a once in a decade prospect. You already pretty much know you are getting a decent player. High risk/ High reward but you are the browns you have nothing to lose.
Draft Allen #4... I really don't think Darnold and Rosen are that good. Before Kiper had him #1, I thought this would be a steal and slam dunk for the browns because not many drafts had Allen in the top 10 before now. I think Allen is a more intrigueing prospect than the others. He has arm is very good and he has a good frame. I watched him play against Iowa and the bowl game and looked the part.
You are the browns, this might seem odd to some to draft a running back that high but you have nothing to lose. They haven't won many first rounds in the past decade.

Breaking News: Browns are in talks with Browns on moving the 4 pick for the 1 pick of the NFL Draft!

Is Ridley really a top ten draft pick?

I don't like any of these quarterbacks enough to take at #1. Allen, even less so.
Arden Key not being in the first round is rather alarming.
If the Saints are going to take a receiver in the first round, I'd much rather a speed guy rather than Sutton.

Would kill it with the Broncos, like Big Ben and Elway he sort of comes across as a cold weather QB with feet to get easy 1st downs on the frozen tundra.

I’d take him over Allen in any kind of football game. Allen has done nothing to warrant this kind of hype. Absolutely nothing. Blows my mind that NFL execs and coaches want to hitch their wagon, and likely their jobs, to a guy who was a mediocre QB in the Mountain West.

I think Elway sees a lot of himself in Darnold as well: excepting the throwing motion, great all-around athlete, great arm strength, mobility, measurables, California QB, played at a California-based school, basically all the variables that render Darnold comparable to his possibly potential boss are there, would be quite a situation to have if I'm a Broncos fan or simply John Elway himself.

It make sense for them to take Allen. I think they go Barkley 1 and Allen 4, if they do not trade the 4th pick.
You know he can play in the weather and get him a great RB to go with Crowell. Then the rest of the Draft get a Tackle and Defensive players. But it is the Browns so who knows how bad this ends up.
Perfect scenario for them is
Draft Barkley 1, Get Allen at 4, get one of the Tackles at 1 in 2nd, then just load the Defense. In Free Agency get a QB like Smith to groom Allen and in 2 years it is his show. But as I said, it makes too much sense for the Browns to do that.
