Goodell is a joke - this farce benefits no one.

Even if you are dumb enough to buy into the Globalist hype, could have allowed Denver to have 2 of the non infected QBs and just have them in very tight Covid protocols (mask on field, segregated on sideline)

Absolutely. This virtue signaling just to prove a ridiculous point. Just like the fine levied on New Orleans for celebrating without masks in the locker room. Let alone those same guys just spent the 5 days prior practicing, meeting and playing a game were they were all in “close contact”.

“Optics” over logic. Not just the NFL, but damn near the entire western world (at least so call “leaders”) have adopted this stupid position

How hard is it to wear a mask and NOT sit next to someone in a QB meeting?

About as hard as it is to recover from Covid-19...

Not very.

Can someone tell me why the Broncos were forced to play today but Baltimore gets 4 days to recover?

The same people excusing the Broncos are the same ones who say “just comply” with police

The NFL should have just made them forfeit. The outcome was never in doubt. Hinton was out there facing bodily injury for no reason at all. Mad respect to him but it is on the NFL to step in for that situation

Or they could’ve delayed the game until tomorrow night, where all Denver QBs would have been able to play...save Jeff Driskel.

The NFL should be embarrassed for this charade.

I don’t get why they couldn’t postpone the game to Tuesday to at least allow Denver to try to prepare Hinton more or get one of their other QBs back (if possible).

Broncos broke league protocol.

Ravens have a full on Covid outbreak.

Broncos also could have forfeited but chose not to so they weren’t forced to do anything.

wouldn’t be fair to other NFC contenders to give the Saints a second bye week

100% this. It's also the reason the Saints were the only ones fined knowing other teams were doing the same thing.

He's the poster child why the NFL and CFB seasons are a joke, CFB more, which is bewildering why they are actually pretending a playoff is legit and trying to put on this charade purely for money.

They are trying to pick the teams by DEC. 18 and due to Covid protocols half the Conferences will have played half their truncated schedules.

Bingo, also... Shouldnt you have 1 QB separate from the others in case of this exact situation?

I mean Denver has handled this as poorly as you can.

Besides, NO got punished for celebrating in the locker room that broke protocols and denver didnt for doing the same thing. They had this coming to them
