He would need solid proof of an actual conversation of all those owners making a pact or being told not to sign him

And if he had that then he would've sued a long time ago.

Pretty easy to show 32 teams independently spurned him
No need for collusion, they can all ignore him individually

Florio says that if collusion is found the entire CBA could be voided
Some people just want to watch the world burn

I didn't say he'd win or even if I thought he'd win.

I said if it's true it should be easy to prove.

Opting out before he was going to be cut from the worst team is like breaking up with your high school girlfriend because you heard she was going to break up with you at lunch.

The bottom line is he wasn't good enough to play on the worst team in the league. He only had a few good games in his career (mostly due to Harbaugh's tutelage, including choking away the Super Bowl), all this SJW nonsense is clouding people's memory.

Why doesn't anyone clamor for RG3 or Vince Young? They don't have a political cause behind them to obscure their collective suckitude. (Plus RG3 is conservative and married to a white woman, thus he's not down for the cause).

For a guy whose life is presumably better for being adopted by his white family, Kaepernick seems more committed to his black Muslim girlfriend who is ruining whatever he could've squeezed from his football career. He did pretty well for being drafted as a project player that still can't really throw.

Under Article 17 of the CBA this grievance would be decided by a neutral arbitrator and uses a preponderance of evidence standard, Federal Rules of Evidence will apply but no subpoena power exists for this obviously so we can be assured it will be basically impossible for him to win this case. Kap’s Just a butthurt POS for doing this shite.

I said the exact same thing earlier, talk about shitty timing to make the entire nfl your enemy.

I would love for Kaep to just shut the frick up and fade away. All he is trying to do is make himself relevant. You made this cluster frick of a bed, now sleep in it.

Owners of a NFL team is just like any other employer in the United States. They have the right to interview or hire anyone they want. Some people have gotten pissed about a team not signing him but there is no obligation a team has that says they have to give him a tryout or sign him. Im sure that most team dont want him b/c of everything he has done but maybe they dont want him b/c he is not a good QB at all.

Can this be heard in the Uber liberal 9th district since he lives and last worked in San Fran?

I could actually seeing them hearing the case and siding with him if so. That court is ridiculously left wing.

It’s just mind blowing that someone that had some bad seasons, turned the into nfl into a sideshow for controversy, got cut/opted out is now arrogant enough to think teams colluded to not hire him. Face the fricking facts kid, nobody ended your career but yourself.

I might as well sue the nfl for collision for not hiring me as a MLB

Why does no one mention RG3 is out of work as an NFL QB? He's got more experience and was collectively regarded as a better player/prospect, plus none of the political baggage behind him. For some reason the media won't get behind RG3....

I need to ask, is Kaepernick getting paid by the owners as some elaborate long game?

If the CBA is voided, this controversial season ends and the players money gets cut off IMMEDIATELY. They players held out about for only a few months with YEARS of warning.

How much of a deal do you think the owners could get for a few little changes like lighter drug testing or removing Goodell as judge, jury, and executioner for punishments?

The best part is that, apparently, the Titans snubbing him for 3rd string QB who would probably be cut in a week was the last straw.

Timeline:
Mariota injures his hamstring - October 1st

Titans work out Brandon Weeden, Matt Barkely, Matt McGloin, and T.J. Yates; sign Brandon Weeden to back up Matt Cassell - October 3rd

Mariota did a little at practice - October 4th

Mariota did a little more - October 5th

Report that Mariota's injury will be 2-4 weeks - October 8th (1 week after original injury)

Mularkey says Mariota could return in week 6 - October 9th

Mariota practices - October 11th

October 12th - Mariota did more in practice

October 13th - Mariota did more in practice

October 15th - Kaepernick files grievance

October 16th - Mariota expected to start

It’s not about that though man.. guys like Colin really just want to bring attention to important issues such as police brutality and racism.. we really need to start that conversation

This dude is a damn idiot. He basically quit his job and is now filing a suit against potential employers for not hiring him. He is too stupid to know that you don't quit one job without having another one lined up. No wonder no one will hire him. No one wants a stupid QB.

Interesting he wants back on the plantation so bad so those horrible slave driving owners can own him again.
