I know it want shut Jake Paul up but it’s still sweet he can’t talk so much trash cuz he fought someone that wasn’t actually past his prime or willing to take a dive

Damn Tommy Fury almost doubled Jake Paul in every category. Does Jake really want to run that back??

Just looking at the stats, how was that a split decision? Judge got paid?

I’d have to see the fight and how the rounds went down to get an idea of why that one judge went w/Paul but you’re right that just looking at the numbers it’s odd that got a split.

There was a knockdown and a few point deductions for both fighters. Boxing judging is always like this in a close fight. Seems there is always one judge that sides with 'the favorite' no matter what.

What little I saw, the announcers were in the bag for Paul, calling him a dangerous fighter?

He looked out of shape after the 4th round.

Fury was not even that good, he just showed what an average trained boxer could do to a loudmouth schmuck.

A saw teh "knockdown" too, it was slip.

I disagree. I hate modern day celeb worship and influencers, but the Paul bros could be resting on their laurels and just making shitty influencer-like content. Instead, both jumped into training for boxing and Jake stayed in the ring 8 rounds with someone that has been boxing since he was a kid. He has my respect. Besides Fury/Wilder, no one has brought this amount of exposure to boxing in a while.

This. The Paul brothers have brought much needed exposure to the sport. Jake is putting his own money where his mouth is in promoting other fighters as well. I believe Amanda Serrano is promoted by Paul.

Both appear to be investing the effort and time to get better. Logan even went as far to take on one of the best to ever lace up a set of gloves. You have to respect that.

Although this is Jake's first match with a real boxer, getting in the ring with the brother of the heavyweight champion of the world also has to be respected.

I think another thing that Jake has been doing by "fighting" former MMA guys is shining light on the fact that Dana White is screwing those guys big time on money.

Again, I don't particularly like either one of them but I can respect what they are doing.

Big picture, the guy is making multimillions selling his skill level to a YouTube generation.

Logan has been putting in the work in WWE as well. Dude has looked good in all of his matches so far. He’s definitely a natural

I had it 5-3 Fury, but Paul had a knockdown so Fury by 1.

The 1st round was a hug fest that I gave to Fury but could see going to Paul, and if so, I could see an angle where Paul is up 1 on a scorecard.

Paul got rave reviews from Jim Cornette over his WWE work, which tells you how talented he is.
