Take all the seats you can get regardless of location. If you go then great. If you sell, you are getting all of your money back and then some.

Was a Astros season ticket holder for 15 years. Trust me.

Holy shite. In 2016 my postseason package was like $2200 for a half season ticket holder.

Two tickets. Four rows back in RF

That’s insane.

Have to make it there first. Astros own the division until proven otherwise.

If you plan to get season tickets next year, do it.

It's what MLB and the Rangers expect. It's what any team making the playoffs expects regardless of the sport.

Do it!

it’s bullshite. I sit on the dugout in section 19 for half the season and couldn’t believe it when I got that email. so ownership gets to pretend like the team doesn’t exist for 7 years, blackmail a city into funding half their stadium, and then charges a mortgage payment to the only people who kept going to games when they didn’t give a flying frick

Would be a big time bargain for WS tickets in that location. Could probably make your money back and more selling all those tickets if they advanced all the way through.

I was lucky enough to have a great year professionally in 2021 and was able to go to every Braves home playoff game (2 DS, 3 CS, 3 WS) as a non season ticket holder and the difference in prices on the secondary market for DS/CS and WS was extraordinary.

I sat in the Delta club for all the DS and CS games for under $750 each for all 5 games pre WS iirc. The DS games were under $300 each. The WS tickets were $5-7k each down there which I couldn’t justify. I ended up sitting in the regular 100 level/Infiniti club for those games and they were still between $1 and $2k.

I went to games 1,2 and 6 in Houston as well and lower level seats were about half as expensive as the 3 Atlanta WS games.

No wonder Yankees have empty seats all the time
Would never pay that even for World Series
I can go see Taylor swift cheaper than that

Get the extra seats then sell. Prices are typically inflated on the secondary market for teams that are historically bad and rarely sniff postseason. Take advantage if you can.

Imagine paying $13k to watch the Rangers get skunked out of the wild card

You wouldn’t pay for the games that weren’t played…ah never mind.

For the Cardinals '06 playoff run we had two bleacher seats that cost us $900 for everything. 2011 I think was $1,100.

Four strips for two seats together in Section 7, row 13 and two together in Section 17, row 2.
