Really though, welcome to college football free agency…I hate this dumb shite.

Hell free agency has structure and limitations. Imagine if Aaron Rodgers just decided to go to the Niners tomorrow and received no penalty and the Packers got nothing in return

Yep, you’re exactly right. That’s what I hate most about all of this. The rich will always take from the poor, via money or other benefits (NIL, of course).

An under the radar prospect could go to a lower tier program, get developed, become one of the best players in college football and then just transfer to a team like USC, Oklahoma, Ohio State, Alabama, etc with no penalty to anyone other than the program he was at.

Riley is not a loser. Texas has his WR coach and PGC who was incredible last year.

Riley is a loser. He’s scared of competition and jumped to go out West.

Is there not a time range where you can hit the portal and transfer by or else you miss the fall season?

I feel like I read on here that you had to transfer by May 1st to be eligible for fall sports

For Pittsburgh and teams in that same tier, what’s the fricking point anymore? You patiently wait for the right pieces to fall in place for that once in a decade (or less) season and your QB sits out the bowl game and your star WR bolts for another team. Utter garbage.

Yeah, even though they were a lot Louisiana guys and we really needed the numbers, I felt dirty about grabbing as many players as we did in the portal this last window.

Now Alabama fans can tell us how they didn’t need/want him after all

Now Saban can scream and cry about another coach who beat Nick at his own game.

I am so concerned about where this kid goes to play college football...not. F this guy. Hope he sucks this year and has a horrible experience. The sport has been ruined by this crap.
