Can we drop this narrative yet? In what universe is the number 1 overall pick going to a team with a great offensive line? Look around the league, there are more shitty offensive lines than good one. The bengals are near the bottom in every metric, but there are still worse ones out there. Reading this site you’d think it’s a MAC level offensive line

Yep

Carson Wentz has been sacked 8 more times

Even Russell Wilson has been sacked more times

They are just tough players

hat’s on the Bengals and their failure to do anything about their Oline.

heavy sigh, they drafted OL in the first round of both the 2018 and 2019 drafts.

I'd be interested to see the pass attempts of them vs Burrow. I will say, Russell Wilson likes to hold on to the ball really long and that causes sacks, not sure about Wentz.

The #Bengals plan to sign QB Brandon Allen to the active roster from their practice squad, per source.

To which QB Brandon Allen replies, nah i'm good... I'll take my chances elsewhere

Matt Ryan got the unholy hell beaten out of him yesterday.

This sucks for Burrow, but it is the NFL. Injuries happen. Tom Brady tore his ACL in 2008 and no one would say the Patriots are a shitty organization. Bridgewater had a horrific knee injury in practice a few years ago playing for a good Vikings team.

It isn't just QBs on bad teams who get injured.

Let me know how Wentz and Wilson do when their knees are completely bent in the opposite direction. You are a fricking dumbass.

These types of knee injuries, like the one Joe Burrow suffered, usually sideline players anywhere from 9-12 months, though each person heals and rehabs differently. But no matter how quickly Burrow does or doesn’t recover, next year’s status is now in question.

also this blaming the OL for every QB injury is overblown, others have pointed out the Saints have one of the best OLs in the league and Brees still has 11 fractured ribs from a hit.

Nooooooooo

Hopefully they can bring in some OL help before he returns and I hope he can make a full recovery. Would hate to see it impact his performance the rest of his career, his legs and mobility is a big part of what makes him so great, he can't lose that.

Best case scenario

Burrow gets out of Ohio to go back to his real home. South Louisiana.

Taysom will be ~34-35 by the time Joe can leave though.
