He should have pulled an Eli on the Bengals. What a garbage organization to not take care of your franchise QB
his knee got rolled up on you can't fix that. He went to the best possible spot regarding offensive talent.

Just looked up sack % to get an idea of what it looked like league wide, these are the top (bottom?) 10:

1. Wentz - 9.6%
2. Darnold - 9.0%
3. Daniel Jones - 8.5%
4. Alex Smith - 8.5%
5. Wilson - 8.4%
6. Haskins - 8.2%
7. Lamar Jackson - 8.0%
8. Minshew - 7.6%
9. Burrow - 7.3%
10. Stafford - 7.3%

Football Team managed to get two in the top 10

Has he picked a orthopedic surgeon yet? I hope it's one of the LSU med guys. They are the best.

The same LSU fans who have been saying all season this was going to happen, those LSU fans didn't know this was going to happen?

Why do you seem to be under the impression that somehow this could’ve been prevented if LSU fans rooted that he would drafted lower?

Also almost every thread leading up to the draft was like “sucks he’s gonna be in the suck hole that is the bengals but I’m happy for him”

Of course, but countless people predicted it based on the shite O-Line, so when it actually happens, they need to take extra heat. It's not like, "well damn Bree's has a steller OL, that was just a freak occurence. Nobody's fault"

Yeah, anyone can stumble into your pool at any given time and drown, but wouldn't you rather have a fence around it so it's not as likely?

Injuries happen and Burrow could have been injured on that play with the Bengals having the leagues best offensive line.

Most people are saying that maybe you don’t have your rookie franchise QB going for most attempts in the league after getting crushed all year on a lost season. The risk is always there but the bengals did not do much to mitigate it

It’s been a running joke since we knew the bengals would pick him first that he would hurt behind their line, and here we are

Not every hit on the QB is a sack dumb dumb. Think before you type.

Burrow is 9th in QB hits this year. So Wentz and Wilson not only get sacked more, but are also hit more.

Way different player union contract in 2020 than back in Peyton's day.

I look at it this way if Willis Mcgahee was able to come back from the knee injury he suffered in the NC and have a lengthy NFL career. Joe Burrow can do it.

If you have a top two pick I think you have to go Justin Fields.

Joe will never be the same after this I am afraid. This was a devastating injury.

I would be happy to walk on the knee normally until I am mid 50s after that.

Itll be very interesting now to see what happens if they end up with a top 2 pick.....

I'd probably just move on from him. Draft Fields and trade Joe for a 1st. Maybe to a team with a retiring QB. Idk, just an idea.
