This article better be a killer given the absurd press it's been given

I'm not as concerned with "How Deep It Went" as I am with "How Deep The NCAA Is Going To Put It?"

"The suspense is terrible. I hope it lasts."

this is one of the few times I've been hyped to read an article from Sports Illustrated.

A few things.

Urban will coach after this season. Since Tressel resigned, I believe the penalties wont be as severe

All programs better be on notice, the NCAA is digging into all programs and I would venture to guess that just about every division one program is breaking some kind of rule; all you have to do is look for it. The difference is who is getting caught.

Sad day in Buckeye country, but a rule is a rule and breaking one will have consequences.

Amazing how frequent that is said by fans right after their program gets busted. It makes them feel better though, so i understand.

I'm not reading the whole thread - what are OSU thoughts/feelings on Tressel? He seems l.ike a selfish SOB and I'd hate that SOB if I was a bucknut.

Lack of institutional control. If you cant police your head coach, you obviously cant police your athletes.

The morons with the NCAA (after a big enough payoff from the bcs and sugar bowl) declared everyone eligible for the sugar bowl. It will be the only win they dont vacate from last year.

True, but I wouldn't be stunned if they changed their mind because something else they found (like Pryor had other benefits that they didn't know about when the players were declared eligible).
