If that walking first aid kit Embiid can pull himself together they can be legit again. And I can go to more than just the Pels/Sixers game every year

Jazz got way more for Kessler.

Boggles the mind.

After Jaylen Brown led them to a top 4 seed in the playoffs. They immediately trade him for an often injured way past his prime 36 year old. I truly don't understand the minds of NBA Gms sometimes.

Basically dumping brown for 4 worthless draft picks, they must really hate him.

Celtics don’t actually want PG, he’s a useless asset to make contracts work.

Yes. Do these people actually watch the games/players? Or to they just listen to ESPIN? Playoff P has been MIA for how long now? WTF are they thinking? They would have been off just running it back with Brown.

Stupid return for Boston. If they can get 70 games out of PG, then that would be an upgrade over his more recent seasons. That's not even a sure thing.

This can’t be the best package they could have gotten. To a freaking division rival no less.

Boston went from Giannis to Paul George because they didn’t want to give up Hugo Gonzalez and Baylor Scheierman.

Unless they got guilted into a do-over for the Sixers getting Fultz over Tatum in the draft

the "2nd apron" fricked up the league
its not even about the luxury or repeater tax
Tatum and Brown make 70% of the cap by themselves alone

trading a homegrown product like Jaylen Brown gives the Celtics much more flexibility in the future. OKC and Spurs will have to make similar decisions soon

PG is an expiring max deal, he is also rehabbing an ACL repair

he will never wear a Celtics uniform, he will be a trade chip for another deal to bring in a second high priced guy

same with the draft picks, the Cs and Trailblazers are both gearing up for their next moves
