get the cap space etc and just wanting to move on but this anonymous source crap attack by all the "NBA Insider" talking tards is so obviously propoganada by Boston to justify getting screwed, unless you are dumb

If Boston thought Brown is as good as Brown thinks he is they wouldn’t have been trying to trade him for the last 5+ years.

Are you forgetting about Kawhi and Durant, two much better players who had much better numbers?

No, I just didn't ignore that they combined to miss 65 games that season so they obviously wouldn't make all league. But even if you include them it's still not enough to get Brown off the 3rd team.

Regular season wins don’t count for much if you lose in the first round of the playoffs.

What Brown was 6th in MVP voting. He was without a doubt one of the best players in the league this year. Playoffs don't matter with regular season awards. He was without a doubt going to be all NBA even if JJJ qualified. And even if you think JJJ would have been in over Brown (which he wouldn't), there still was third team all nba.

If any of that were true he wouldn’t have been traded for a bag of stale potato chips.

No front office shares your opinion. Neither do the advanced statistics.

There is legitimately nothing on paper that points to Jaylen Brown being a top 40 player in the NBA. It’s staggering when you look at the numbers.

Yet he was just traded for a bag of potato chips because literally no one in the NBA wanted him (except Philly so they could dump George’s contract).

You are completely clueless on this issue.

Meh, he won one and he wasn’t the best player. Please save the finals MVP talk unless you think Iggy was better than Steph

All top 40 if advanced stats are your jam. You’re a moron, you can criticize a bad deal if your team makes it. I’ve seen plenty from my own

On average he isn’t when you look at the most popular advanced statistics.

DARKO: +1.8 (40th)

EPM: +1.5 (77th)

LEBRON: +1.5 (67th)

LAKER: +2.4 (62nd)

3 year RAPM: -0.5 (283rd)

You don’t understand the basic fundamentals of NBA basketball. If Jaylen Brown was truly an elite player the best offer the Celtics got wouldn’t have been a Paul George salary dump.

Think link you posted to try and prove hes not in the top 40 with advanced stats shows hes in the top 40

This link shows hes top 20 in advanced stats. It would be a lot less embarrassing for you if you just said you dont have a clue what you are talking about

Your buddy trying to compare Iggy to Brown is also comical

https://basketball.realgm.com/nba/stats/2026/Advanced_Stats/Qualified/points/All/desc/1/Regular_Season

And here is PER stats which according to totesmcgotes another nba fool is the only way to analyze a players worth. Hes top 20
