Assuming they won and didn’t mess up post Bama. He would have to be the winner despite the media starting their push for Marvin Harrison or Michigan Qb. If Daniel’s dissects Bama and finishes strong then he should win the award quite easily IMO.

If he beats Bama with 300+ yards and 3+ TDs (combined) it would be very difficult to come to any other conclusion.

Same can be said if he loses a close game.

the 3 losses would probably keep him from winning. Not saying that’s my stance just my opinion. He is a great great QB.

I think he'll have a great game and lead LSU to a win in a shootout.

I honestly don’t know how to feel about this game. I feel LSU can just score at will, but also know we have major issues on defense. I could see a 50 something to 40 something type game either way.

You really trying to reverse jinx it huh? Someone tried this last week with another game. Didn't really work.

Penix needs to have a bad game or loss at some point too

Not if he loses to Texas A&M in the last week of the season.

Are we pretending like Marvin Harrison Jr isn’t good?

Probably agree

Tebow lost some games in his Heisman year but already had a championship ring. Daniels doesn't have that on his resume

If LSU beats Bama it’ll be bc of Daniels which will be enough to make him the Heisman favorite after this week.

If LSU wins, he’s definitely becomes the Heisman favorite

If LSU loses, he is no longer a candidate

If LSU wins, the Heisman will be his to lose.

If LSU loses, he has no chance, no matter what his numbers look like at the end of the year.

Too early to win it...but he can play his way out of it.

Maybe. He's been great this year, but I think Penix has been better so far. Not by a lot, though.

That's definitely debatable. Penix has more yards throwing, but Daniels smokes him in every other QB stat. Plus Penix has been average the past few weeks. Obviously a lot of football left tho.
