Won a conference championship and got Tulane to the NCAA tournament in his first season

Bad hire but great one week run!

19-40... 15-39 regular season. Give the man a raise

If he beats LSU, he'll get a 10 year deal.

He also gave you your worst Tulane season in over 30 years.

This is correct. Tulane was also trash during the season. I'll give him another year before I call for his head but I'm already sharpening my blade.

Lifetime contract is the only option

he has the appearances to be a championship level coach.

If he beats LSU, the Tiger rant will no longer exist

Would it be wrong if I were to cheer for that to happen?

Yulman, now Uhlman. Tulane likes their Yoolmans.

That's one way to look at it.
Hiring the assistant of a failed coach isn't generally the prescription for success. That said, his resume was pretty good and he had the background to do a good job.
He needs stronger assistants.
And scheduling 3 trips out west, including one to Hawaii, with a stop off in Seattle, likely didn't keep the team fresh and sharp.
Anyway, looking forward to the weekend.

Riser or Gautreau would be slam dunks for Tulane
Uhlman will get at least one more year

We’ll see what happens in Baton Rouge. We are obviously the biggest underdogs in the entire tournament and any reasonable person can expect a fast exit, but you have to play the games.
Assuming Tulane does get their shite pushed in, the first thing Uhlman should do is show Anthony Izzio the door, because he is a fricking terrible pitching coach. Then tell half the team to enter the transfer portal and go get some talent.
If he doesn’t do these things I’ll just get ready for another 40 loss season

The decision to schedule 3 West Coast trips -- none of which went well -- put them on the wrong foot to start. Couple that with the best player having like a 1-22 start with 14ks didn't help. They were playing for the conference tournament by before March was over.
They seem to have found some pitchers at the AAC tournament who were buried for most of the year and scoring runs in bunchs. Who know? That's why it's a little scarier than Southern or Sacred Heart.

In his defense the roster was depleted after AD fired Jew
Deserves a chance IMO

Probably saved himself from getting fired after one season.

Which probably fricks them up considering Riser is available now.

Nah, if they want Riser, this little run to get to BR is not a factor
