Good grief, this guy sucks.

He's an athletic guy but this is just an attention-seeking thing, social media being his forte. When have boxers and wrestlers ever gone to the NFL? Doesn't happen. Plenty of football players have washed out into wrestling and combat sports.

How do we even know if he’s an athlete? He doesn’t think the NFL guys are two athletic levels above him?

Did this guy even play high school football?
But somehow NFL teams are interested in signing a development project player who’s almost 30….the age when most non-QB’s start to decline

Yes, NFL teams are chomping at the bit to add a 6-foot white guy who’s about to turn 30 and has absolutely zero football playing experience…

Seems more like Jake is trying to stir up some shite with his comments that there’s a lot of medicore athletes in the NFL.
Must be an angle to go back to boxing retired NFL players since he got put in his place with a broken jaw when he tried to fight a real boxer.

Yeah, I'm sure teams that regularly cut college all-americans would be interested in a dude that's 30 and doesn't play football

Looked it up. Apparently he played 2 years of HS football and didn’t achieve any notable accolades. His brother was a good HS football player, but looks like nothing special.
Obviously he would look like an idiot out there with elite pros and probably wouldn’t make it past Period 1 of his first practice.

Is this like he got a LinkedIn message saying he might be a good fit for an open position and someone wants him to schedule a meeting on their calendar?

Paul family are absolute masters at generating clicks

Why are people even paying attention to a WWE storyline setup

True, but watching Gable Stevenson dominate heavyweight wrestling it was hard not to think he could do it. I think he had a try out with a few NFL teams before going the WWE route.

It’s gotta be this

Got signed by the Bills, played a few preseason games, got cut. Great wrestler, an NFL developmental prospect, at best. You can think you can bag Sydney Sweeney, too, but that doesn't mean it's true.

By far the better athlete of the two. Dude has done well in WWE in such a short time.
