Reminds me of King Felix. Dominant pitcher with horrible run support

Atlanta has scored four runs in 33 innings against deGrom this season; they are 5-0 in those games.

Remember, this is someone they picked up when San Francisco was needing to dump salary, Texas agreed to take him and another salary dump casualty in order to get one of the Giants' better pitching prospects, and was told don't bother reporting, we're either going to trade or DFA you.

And he would STILL have a better average than either of the Rangers' current CF Rule 5 duo of Delino Deshields or Carlos Tocci. And he's a local kid from Denton. But they still weren't interested.

Mets should have traded him this deadline, but you know, Mets being the Mets. Being the biggest group of retards on the planet. They would have gotten the best value for him during this deadline. Mets are a fricking trash can.

Nah, the offseason is where you get the best deals.

There will be plenty of teams coming for him, price will be higher after the season. Yankees will end up paying a kings ransom for another top3 starter.

Is it? Will they? DeGrom is 30 as it is. I would think they could have gotten more for two more years of control (or whatever he has) + a stretch run and playoffs for a contender. The prospect cost limits the suitors as is.

Braves are a perfect fit but being in the same division probably eliminates almost any chance of a deal.
