Yeah never in question…this guy SMH

A pick 6 to end the half and a KO return for a TD to start the half, which was a blown call since he caught the ball with his knee down, and only won by 8.

Seems more like a game gifted to Tulane to me.

As a Cajun fan, yes Tulane is probably the best in Louisiana, they won that battle at Cajun Field, not a bad blemish on UL’s record; a loss to a worthy opponent. Hoping one of The Green Wave or Cajuns can get that G5 spot in the playoff.

LSU would blow the doors off both ULL and Tulane.

Yeah but Tulane worked them in Laffy

Louisiana actually dominated that game. Wooldrich had his worst game of the season (2 of his 4 picks, one for a pick 6), and special teams gave up a 94 yard kick return TD. UL should be undefeated.

Tulane is absolutely firing on all cylinders right now. This team beats Kansas State and probably Oklahoma.

They lost to Oklahoma (maybe the secs worst team)
It’s a cute joke and all but there are levels to this and a huge gap between AAC and SEC ball

Frosh QB was shell shocked in first half of the Oklahoma game. It would be a much different game at this point in the season and we got screwed on a ridiculous OPI call against Kansas St on the tying TD with 20 secs left.

I kind of agree w u but you also have a situation where the competition has been nonexistent since the OU game so is it a matter of a) the qb improving b) a cupcake schedule or c) a mix of both
Nuss for lsu looked great, improved, etc until he played some real defenses
I think it’s fair to wonder how the Tulane qb would look now vs some real competition

Since the UL game (when mensah threw for 80 yds) tulanes opponents are

4-5 USF
2-7 UAB
3-7 Rice
5-4 N Texas
3-6 charlotte
2-7 temple
19-36 overall record

Like I said, fair to say the improvement may coincide w a very light schedule

I will say that with the exception of Rice (where Tulane looked flat and Rice came to play) and maybe North Texas, Tulane beat those teams like they should have. Under Fritz games against “lesser” opponents were usually closer than they should have been.

Wait…. I don’t want Sumrall to get poached……..

Tulane is by far the worst team in the state…. I have it on good authority that Tulane paid a middle school to put on these teams jersey so that absolute BUM Sumrall could get some easy wins.

I also believe that Sumrall worships the devil.

I do wonder how long it will take for an SEC team to come sniffing after Sumrall, like Kentucky.

If he does well enough there I wouldn't mind LSU sniff around in 2-3 years, although I know that would not be a popular sentiment on this board

If sun belt billy goes 6-6 or worse next year then Florida might take a look

Florida is going to go after an established P4 coach. Make a splash. They aren't going to hire another Group coach after what just happened

Did you not see me say that he worships the devil? Why would any team want that!?!?
