If you throw out the intentional fouls at the end, free throws were even.

Let’s blame refs for:

In a crucial game 4 with a chance to go up 3-1, Indiana had a 4 point lead with 3 minutes left. From that point on they went 0-6 from the field, 1-4 from the free throw line and committed two blatant away from the play fouls. One of these fouls, the defender literally tackled SGA. SGA got 1 or 2 questionable non-calls but Indiana blew that game WAY more than Scott Foster did.

They gave the game away. Blaming Scott Foster lets Indiana off the hook.

Questionable?

And by “1 or 2” you mean an average per possession, right?

I want the pacers to win but im more upset about the rebounding differential (+10 okc, +5 ORB). Those second chance points were huge. Also no clue why they went more iso and didn’t play through Siakam more.

SGA was getting fouled so much with no calls in Game 3 they took him off the ball in Game 4 and let others take the ball down the court.

For all the free throw merchant talk and such: SGA had 4 FTs before intentional fouls started. Despite attacking the rim like crazy.

Indy making 5 FGs the entire 4th quarter let's the refs off the hook for how inconsistent they were all game. They would literally go 5 minutes only calling fouls on OKC and then turn around and go 5 minutes only calling fouls on Indy.

They were bad and inconsistent on both ends of the floor all night. Indy going ice cold doesn't change that.

Scott Foster did work:

OKC had a free-throw rate of 43.6 free throws per 100 field goal attempts in this game, their highest mark in any game this season...both in the regular season and playoffs.

What was Indiana’s rate?

I don’t think anyone would dispute that the refs were cheeks. Just that it broke heavily in one side’s favor.

The Thunder had start driving to the basket like crazy because they shot awful from behind the line. And therefore drew a lot of fouls.

I dunno how old some of you are, but you would have apparently hated prime D-Wade, Kobe, and MJ.

OKC fans who were Warriors fans in the mid-2010’s, Heat fans before then, maybe Fakers? Pacers need to win so we can take out the trash. I went to an OKC game in 2021 and there were like 500 people there. Do you see any obnoxious Pacers fans? Nope.

I was at the first franchise victory in 2008. Had season tickets from 2012-2018. Only gave them up when kid’s activities dominated our schedule. I’ve personally been to probably 150+ Thunder games.

This is an insanely loyal fan base. No idea wtf you’re even talking about here.

When you have to go to the foul or free throw count to defend it you’ve lost the argument. Neither have anything to do with validity.
