Exactly, also, if Phil Simms had been healthy enough to start and win Super Bowl XXV, he would be in the Hall right now as well.

yea I agree with that.

To be NFL HOF you have to have both or a crap ton of one or the other.

Matt Stafford lots of stats, no going to Canton.

Rogers, great TD to INT ratio...shouldn't go to Canton.

Eli 500qb two rings...not going to Canton

Montana 4 SB wins.. in Canton

Correct. Rodgers has both. That is why he is getting in and Flacco isn't.

Long career. Lots of yards. Lots of TDs. Great TD:INT ratio. League MVP. Superbowl.

He might not be 1st Ballot (though he has a good shot), but he's a lock to be in.

Flacco has the ring, but bad stats.

Stafford has the stats, but no ring.

Both might make it in, but neither are locks.

Compare his career playoff record to Drew Brees’. And he was dominant during that one SB run. I agree with most that the answer is “no” but it’s closer than you think.

That throw against denver ball traveled 60 yards and everyone slowed expecting it short but only the receiver adjusted and saw it was going further

And neither should Aaron Rodger, I rest my case:

Joe Flacco 10 playoff wins and 1 SB win

Aaron Rogers 10 playoff wins and 1 SB win

Thank you all for backing up exactly my sentiments about Rogers.

Just to clarify that we can weed you out as a fricking dumbass right now, would you take Trent Dilfer over Dan Marino?

Joe Flacco in the Playoffs:

56.6% Completion
25 TDs - 10 INTs
214.9 YPG

Drew Brees in the Playoffs:

67.0% Completion
34 TDs - 12 INTs
310.4 YPG

Flacco had 1 amazing playoff run but the hall would be filled if that's all it took.

Stafford has a shot if he keeps racking up stats

I think he needs to have a playoff wins at least to have a shot. Although he's had some dogshit teams too.

By your standards no HOF for:

Brett Favre. 12-10 playoff record with 28 picks in 22 games. 1 SB

Brees. 8-7. 1 SB
