There are a lot of easy exploits for Cover 2/3 zone defenses. And while Four Verts was really effective, I really liked Mesh type plays with your outside WR running the safety off with a post or a go route while your RB broke wide open on the wheel

ETA: I would usually crush running a seam route with an athletic tight end, usually could hit him between MLB and Safety coverage. Not an Ohio State fan by any means but that’s who I usually played with, Pryor and Wells were very good. That or I’d run wildcat with Dexter McCluster (Ole Miss).

I'd run this and send the RB to the slot on the left side.

I like X Dig.

MT13 always seems to be open.

My daughter only knows Michael Thomas from the video game.

Was always more of a quick slant guy myself.

You could run off tackle in the trips formation in OP and it was 8-11 yards every time if you had the Jimmie’s and Joes

running the ball was so easy against man coverage. Just line up all your WRs to the weak side, and run at the strong side, and there was never anyone there to tackle you

I’d do formation subs on HB circle to have Bennie Brazell and Skyler Green clear out the whole right side and Addai would smoke the linebacker. If they went zone Brazell was always open deep if the OL would hold up

Toss sweep was nasty on Madden 19 or 20. Sign some 70 overall scrub with 95+ speed and turn him into OPOY/MVP.

this thread is actually making me want to play Madden and it’s on sale right now

You can scramble for ever on four verticals with a fast QB. Definitely a go to

I tell you what back in my days at LSU we played a lot of NCAA and Madden but FIFA was the one that mattered most - I took people's souls on that game with Shevchenko and Chelsea...

NCAA 14, Auburn playbook, wildcat variation with a play called fight song. TE is always open and the audibles/hot routes are endless.

Especially on a 4th and short. Cpu would always line up in a goal line formation and that whole side of the field would be open with no secondary help. I had to force myself to stop using it since it would be a touchdown everytime.

I used to light people up with the RB out of the backfield on that play. I remember when Knowshon Moreno was at Georgia and he was an absurdly good receiver out of the backfield in NCAA 2009.

Midline with the TE over in flexbone is the single most powerful play in NCAA 14. Borderline unstoppable.
