If you have to wear one of those goofy arse pillow helmets in a live game, you should not be playing in that live game

The ones wearing it right now are trailblazers. 10 years from now everyone will be wearing one

A study of 25 NCAA Division I players using instrumented mouthguards found no significant difference in peak linear acceleration, angular acceleration, or number of impacts when players wore Guardian Caps.
Another study involving 10 Division I players and 968 video-confirmed impacts likewise found no overall reduction in impact kinematics with soft-shell padding

I’ll ho ahead and say it, most NFL players are retards and a CTE protective helmet won’t spare them from the torment of reality that sets in after their career. Enjoy your time flying high into the sun, because it won’t last long and you’re fricked either way. Might as well go out on your shield.

Then go to school and change professions
How is it fair that some players can wear this shite and others can't? That would be like a baseball hitter being able to use an aluminum bat while others still have to use wood bats

The soft shells are the COVID mask of the NFL. You can tell someone’s politics by who wears them.

All players can and should wear them.

I will say that until all players wear them, the aesthetics of the soft shell helmet on tv is a lot to get used to.
