One day in the future you will be really mad when you find out most of the games are rigged by the officials.

As soon as that star player doesn't win a playoff series or doesn't make it to the finals, the shite starts. Every pundit starts blowing the smoke up their arse. "You can't win in Milkwaukee, you can't win in New Orleans, you can't win in Orlando, Memphis, etc."

This is part of the problem.....whining NBA fans who believe that their sport is as popular / same level as the Football/ NFL. The NBA isn't and has never been and has always been a star driven League.

Plus the owners gave players more power by not wanting to pay long term guaranteed contracts ( like Gilbert Arenas). Now young healthy players routinely come up for free agency within 4/ 5 years instead of being locked up long term.

Stop scapegoating fans and accept it's simply the nature of the game ( star driven) . And blame the owners who pushed for these shorter length contracts and accept players ( ring collectors) lack of competitive spirit.

I heard Anthony Davis bought a nice house in Los Angeles. If that makes you feel any better.

In Major League Baseball, you have a long time with your young stars before they can reach free agency

Not saying you're wrong on the general sentiment, but this part is off.

NBA teams basically control 1st round players for about 7-8 years. Cousins signed 2 contracts with the Kings and was eager to sign a 3rd....until they traded him for peanuts

Its a foreign concept to me too, but I hear that non-Pels teams have young players they develop and grow over multiple years. Weird
