There wouldn't be a big uproar like this. Where do all these new golf fans come from

I love Fred couples and if tiger doesn't win I would want him to win.

If this penalty happened to Couples, I can guarantee there would be exponentially less people calling for a DQ

Freddie would not have cheated in the first place.

the best part is anyone that is calling for him to wd would never do it themselves if this happened to them in the masters with this new rule.

Tiger's drop was "near" his original spot and it was even confirmed by the rules committee

Correct. From my experience no one watched and played golf until about 5 years ago and since then everyone seems to be golf fans now.

Fred Couples cheated on wife and his new GF's so why wouldn't he cheat on the course?

No one in this tournament would withdraw if it happened to them. For Faldo to even say that is stupid. He is just so full of jealousy of tiger because he knows he never was as good a golfer as tiger so he is always pulling for him to fail. If he thinks the "manly" thing for tiger to do would have been to WD, maybe the "manly" thing for him to do was WD from his masters win when Norman had his epic collapse. That guy is a joke, especially when everyone calls him sir nick Faldo.

I like Faldo but he comes off looking like an idiot. He will come a couple days later and apologize and say I wouldn't have withdrawn.

Respect for the game.

Tiger's about himself.
