4-1... and MSU probably is a closer game.

Yep. Wouldn't have lost to Troy and would've only lost by 13 to State.

Zero chance he loses to Troy
Miles coached the team that found themselves down 31-3 to Troy, let's not act like there's no chance Miles could ever lose to Troy, that's just silly.

I still don't understand why you guys got rid of Les. From an outsiders perspective, he was a good coach and a winner. Sure, it wasn't always pretty, but he kept LSU at or near the top and always fielded tough teams.

It takes a special year to beat what Bama has rolling right now. The entire SEC has fallen into this trap of turning over coaches in their programs in this chase to unseat Bama. You all played right into Saban's hands as turnover is tough and there will be growing pains and chaos. You all did exactly what he wanted and made his job easier.

LSU just pulled a Nebraska when they fired Solich. Just hope you don't end up like Nebraska, still chasing that coach 15 years later. Sometimes slow, steady, and consistent is the way to go.

Assuming LSU keeps some linemen if Les is here, probably 4-1.

But it's weird how suddenly the Rant thinks Les would've had this team cruising. His horrible offenses is why he was fired. The offense would still look like dogshit and we'd still be unhappy.

Lol no. If Les was at LSU, LSU is 4-1. He wasn't anything special but he's better than Yaw Yaw.

In this down SEC, Les goes at least 10-2.

Les lost at least 3 games every year since 2012. He lost 2 out of the first 4 last year with all of that talent.

You are nuts if you really believe what you posted.

We'd be able to pound out troy and Syracuse easily and probably Mississippi state as well.

I sat in the Carrier Dome and saw an abortion of an offense except for a handful of plays by a great player. I'm not defending Orgeron at all, but we sucked with a much better team against a HORRENDOUS Syracuse team so what makes you believe we beat them any worse this go around when we are weaker and Syracuse is better?

Undefeated with 3-4 losses coming.

Penalties killed LSU against MSU. The defense was out of position for most of the game.

Under Miles they would have paracticed more and been in better position. His strong point was his defenses and run game. Pass game not so much.

And what was that final score? He also had a fresh qb? Miles doesn’t lose ooc games at home, ever.

LSU would be 5-0 most likely.

We then would have lost to either Florida or Auburn.

We would have beaten Ole Miss.

We would then have gotten hype for the Bama game, only to lose while running into 10 man fronts all game long.

We then would have inexplicably lost one of the next three due to the Bama hangover.

9-3 finish and another Outback bowl.

Wonder why, with all the losing teams around the country, Les is still unemployed?
This team has no quarterback, starting two freshmen on the OL, with the two best players on the team playing at half speed because of injuries. Yet Les who had JR, three future NFL wide receivers on the team and a twenty-one point lead at half time still couldn't beat Tennessee at the same stage in his coaching tenure at LSU.
Like and old hunting dog, Les, the longer he is gone the better he gets.
