IF Jimmy Graham had stayed with the Saints he could have been a top 10 TE of all time.

Agree or disagree ?
Jimmy played 5 years with the saints (6 if you count last year). He left the Saints in 2014, but had he stayed until atleast Brees retired he would have played 6 more years with Brees.

For reference below are Graham’s, Kelce, and Gronk first 5 years in the NFL stats (Graham’s first five years were with the Saints)

Graham: 386 catches, 4,752 yards 51 TDs
Kelce: 410 catches 5,236 yards 32 TDs
Gronk: 308 catches 4,379 yards 54 TDs

Agree

Also kinda a coincidence that all the best tight ends have had modern elite QBs huh?

Kelce was in the NFL for five years before Mahomes showed up.

I think it shows how good Brees could make a WR/TE look.

Interesting side note: Graham used to fly his seaplane to Seahawk practices from his home in the Kenmore area.

I remember a time when one of the NFL pregame show topics was who is the best TE in the league, Jimmy Graham or Rob Gronkowski.

Graham would be a sure fire HOFer

He thought he deserved WR pay and realized Drew Brees had made him after he had left.

Agree he should’ve stayed with the Saints but he’s nowhere near a top 10 TE All-Time no matter where he played.

I think I heard Jimmy Graham played basketball in college. Crazy if true.

Pretty big assumption that he would have just stayed healthy

Possibly... Max Unger played a HUGE part is the continued success of Drew's passing game

He played football his fifth year at Miami, after playing basketball his first four years.

Antonio Gates played zero college football. All basketball. The Chargers signed him to a free agent contract, and it went from there.

His receptions and yards are actually a lot closer than I thought, so I stand corrected. Only 20 TDs tho.

Kelce missed almost all of his rookie season with a knee injury. His first season was basically an injury/redshirt season, but he was still on the roster and active for a couple of games.

Officially, he only had 307 receptions and 3,900 yards his first 5 seasons.
