Where is there a character flaw for liking a particular team

if you are not from NYC and root for the most successful team in pro sports, you are by definition a bandwagon jumper and hence have a huge (sports) character flaw

How am I jelly seeing as I don't hate the team, i don't begrudge and respect their success? I just don't root for them, but to me they might as well be the Royals, I don't care either way. I could jump on the band wagon any time I wanted to.

So I can insert any team into this equation then correct?

offense really needs to get going but its a home run team which isnt hitting enough. they have zero ability to manufacture any runs. 5 hits a game aint gonna cut it. pitching staff has held it together decently.

A-Rod went down July 24th and came back September 3rd. In the 37 games since then:

Chavez - Started 21
Nix - 29
Ichiro - 32

That's 3 role players/DH that are everyday guys now.

Entire team is struggling really....
Chavez is playing well right now but everyone else is struggling....

Ichiro should not be a regular anymore....
Nix is not a regular....

Granderson is slumping, Cano is hitting .200 over last 7 games and all his numbers are down since All-Star break, Swisher is hitting .091 over last 7

It is like team decided to slump together on offense

I love the jealous line. What is the barrier preventing me from rooting for the Yankees? Nothing. I can literally start rooting for them today. There's no barrier whatsoever, so it's clear I don't WANT to be a Yankees fan. Otherwise, I'd be one.

That's my problem with the "penis envy" shite people say here every time I mention the Cajuns. Literally anyone could be an LSU (or any other team in the world) fan, I don't want to be. So why would I be envious?

Just getting a few guys healthy and at LEAST in the lineup should help.
