This. Not a slight to the Orioles at all because they are having a great season. In fact...I seem to remember pimping Showalter on here after his hiring and catching some shite.

The Yankees are fricked if they can't get healthy though. Even then, they may be outta luck.

Cano has been kinda meh lately too. Plus we've been trotting out a shite lineup lately. Jones, Nunez, and Nix have been staples lately. That's bad.

i cant even watch games at the moment, i get too

theres still enough games left to turn it around (or crash and burn).

offense really needs to get going but its a home run team which isnt hitting enough. they have zero ability to manufacture any runs. 5 hits a game aint gonna cut it. pitching staff has held it together decently.

What part of "I don't hate the Yankees so much as I hate people outside of New York who love them" are you not understanding

I do hate the Yankees. And New Yorkers. And people outside of NYC who root for the Yankees. Hell, I hate people from NYC who root for the Yankees... you could've rooted for the Mets, you front-runner.

H-Town is the moderate. I want the Yankees to be destroyed.

I need your address Baloo, because I will beat you up . . . along with your crappy taste in music and movies.

Besides, I can't root for the Mets. My Yankee (as in Northerner, not baseball team) mother-in-law is a huge Mets fan. That would not be right.

As an O's fan, I do understand that. Hell, the play with Jeffery Mayer pissed me off and ranks with the tuck rule as the greatest sports injustices of all time, and really how can anyone like New Yorkers

But if you are not from NYC and root for the Yankees, I view that as a serious character flaw. And yes the same applies to the new Red Sawks fans that are not from Boston. I cna at least repsect New Yorkers that hate the Yankees and root for the Mets.

Don't blame the kid. Blame Rich Garcia for not moving his fat arse to make the correct call. It's not like baseball hires extra umps for the postseason just so we'll have accurate calls in the outfield as well... oh. they do. Screw you, Garcia. I'm glad you got laid off when the umps went on strike. You're idea of "positioning" was finding a place in the shade.

Still bitter. Actually, I'm more bitter about 1997 than 1996. For those of you that haven't heard this rant, here's Mussina's line in the 1997 ALCS:

15 IP, 1 R, 4 H, 4 BB, 25 K.

The Orioles LOST both games he started. frick you, Armando Benitez.

Camden Yards is one of my favorite ball parks, I actually hope they continue to be good as that was a great rivalry when Erickson, Mussina, Ripken, Anderson, and those steroid users were juicing :lol;

Where is there a character flaw for liking a particular team? because you believe it so? So :stillveryjelly:
