Rams?, all the pieces you added on D.
They look like a .500 team, and the coach giving up at the end is embarrassing.

Last year the 49ers beat Seattle in Seattle week one, then won the Super Bowl.
Rams playing the long game.

Their D isn't ready. Aaron back home and they had to keep taking Garrett out because he was tired. They need to get that fixed or will be a long season. Don't know what is wrong on offense. 49ers offense is tough getting Deebo back and having Mike Evans.

I just want to know what idiot at the Rams thought they’d be fine flying to fricking Australia 36 hours before the game

On a go ahead TD under 2 min.- This was arse whopping by NFL standards. Rams came in as Superbowl favorites and put this product on the field>

I think they simply kinda fricked themselves with that travel plan. Nothing more to it than that.
Bet against the Niners next week, though, for the opposite reason.

They play the Dolphins at home, I think they will be fine.

Week 1 overreactions are some of the best times during the football season. Both games so far have had more mediocre play than memorable play.

List out a Super Bowl Favorite preseason that got beat by 3 TDs in week 1 to come back and be the favorite.

Yeah, didn’t understand it at all. They’ll have 10 days when they land in LA on Friday afternoon until they have to play the mediocre Giants on Monday night at home. Felt like they basically just conceded a game to a division rival. Very strange.
But when they end up winning the Super Bowl, I’m sure someone will bump this post.

2003 Pats? I know the Bucs were the heavy favorites but I have to imagine the Pats were up there.
Got blown out by the Bledsoe Bills in week 1 31-0 and came back to win it all.
Not that many super bowl winning teams lose week 1. Both of the Bucs super bowl runs started with them losing to the Saints in week 1, tho.

I remember when Spain tied Cape Verde in their first game of the World Cup.
Niners probably miss the playoffs and the Rams will make the nfc champ game at minimum.

It’s definitely possible the Rams turn it around considering it’s week 1 and the 49ers are likely a great team
But it is possible they aren’t all that great given that most of their star players are 30+ years old

They sure didn't play the travel game.

That was Sean McVey's way of telling Roger Goodell "don't ever schedule us to play in Australia ever again."

They also play at Denver at Philly and Buffalo after the Giants game
that's not an easy task
