The logic works with mid teams, but not bad teams. I went with Pittsburgh, who imo aren’t very good and won’t be truly reliable. It’s a gamble but it paid off.

I picked the Titans.

The goal of survivor challenges is to pick the worst team you can to win each week, especially early in the season. That way you have the better teams available later in the year to choose from.

So yes the Titans are one of the worst teams in the league, but so are the Jets. Took a chance to get by on a week and use a team that I knew I’d never want to use again.

You should always go with the best possible option week 1. You have no idea how these teams are going to come out week 1. Sometimes it takes the a few games to get going since they really dont play preseason.

Just go with the most obvious and dont try and save teams until you know just how good they are after a few weeks

Survive. The goal is to survive. There are multiple strategies, but yours is way more risky earlier in the hopes of having better options later.

Mine is choose the best options earlier until I have more data and can play the field later

I saw a stat that around 24% of people in survivor leagues picked the Chargers to win yesterday.

If the goal is to be put out early every year, this is one way to do it.

Not only that, they do not need to play the crap teams. You can play the top 10 teams and honestly have a chance in most pools. You never need more than 18, so why use a bottom tier team ever?

Have you won survivor before?

I took the chargers because it was the biggest spread of all the games this week.

I can at least understand picking the Jets. They'll still be pretty bad overall this year, but they had a pretty decent off season I thought. They weren't losing to the Titans. I can see someone getting them out of the way.

I have no frickin clue why so many people picked the Titans. Not sure who actually picked the Browns, but you'd be even dumber to pick them too.

Chargers were a really good pick on paper that just didn’t work out. Someone probably could’ve legitimately picked the Titans since it was home against the Jets, but it was a little too cheeky / unnecessarily risky.

Anyone who picked the Browns on the road against the Jags either: a) doesn’t understand how it works and/or thought they were supposed to pick the loser; b) was trolling / being funny; and/or c) has a cognitive disability.
