Look at the tolerance for corruption in this state, and that should tell you something.

This.

First off, frick Michigan and their "glory" from decades ago that gets them annual pub. No different than Notre Dame's sorry arse.

As for the cheating, this is minimal compared to what we know happens in the SEC and what is allowed due to the fact that one school has alumni embedded in many prominent positions.

Hell, just a few weeks ago we watched a Heisman trophy QB get targeted in another blatant dirty hit from a team that is known to do this, only to be told that it was a clean hit. Next game, we watch the same alumni in Birmingham stop a game to point out a "targeting" call on a player trying to tackle a running back.

I'm glad to see there is a conference that appears to care, but at the end of the day, nothing will get done due to the name, and this is just small beans compared to the corruption in the SEC that is allowed and encouraged.

Jim Harbaugh is a self-righteous weirdo, but, the NCAA are a bunch of petty, greedy, legalistic slapdicks.

Michigan probably cost someone a playoff spot last year as their cheating probably allowed them to win at least 1 game that they otherwise would have lost.

The only possible team is Penn St who finished 11-2, Ohio St made the playoff anyway. Michigan boat raced PSU 41-17, given PSU recent history vs ranked teams I tend to doubt any “cheating” is why they lost that game. Does 11-1 PSU go over 10-2 Bama? Possible since the committee has always gone with teams that have fewer losses.

Because people are not stupid, at least most people. Most people see right through when a league or the NCAA penalizes a team for something that every team does. See Astros, Bountygate, Michigan, etc.

Every other team is sending teams of people to games across the country to videotape their sidelines every single week?

Link?

It's Astros sign stealing and Saints bountygate level of exaggeration, hypocrisy and handwringing.

Glad it is someone else this time.

Sure, but they cost us an easier opponent in the first round.

Yeah if you think that’s the only reason OSU lost. Also may have beat UGA anyway if Harrison doesn’t get hurt

People are confusing "stealing signs", which everyone attempts to do, with sending employees to the games of future opponents & video recording their signs to reverse engineer their signs.

This is what a lot of people don’t get.

I'm on Ohio State this weekend and would like to say that I think Michigan's behaviour in all this has been a disgrace.

I don’t get it either. This doesn’t fall into a “most or all power 5 do this” type of category imo. It’s far and away much much more over the line of what should be acceptable or tolerated.

I guess for me, living through programs that produced actual crimes like Penn State and Baylor, some kid wandering sidelines in a fake mustache and Inspector Gadget glasses doesn't really move my anger needle.

But you know how offenses can stop this? It’s called a huddle. An ear piece for a qb isn’t going to change anything unless you huddle.

Which completely negates a team's hurry up offense, which became a huge thing a decade ago.
