A large percentage of the ones that claim that they won't watch are in the next week complaining about the game/refs play by play in real time.

The worst part is that the NFL gave halftime to paedo Jay-Z so we have put put up with poo rap music and illuminati bullshite forever.

There is no way I can watch that fricking garbage. This game was an atrocity and the NFL is a pile of shite.
I’m really glad that I decided to sit these games out today instead of being glued to the TV consuming that garbage.

I’m going let my backyards leaves pile up and have a good afternoon rake in two weeks. frick these two cock sucking teams, their fans, owners, and logos.

I’m guilty of this. Eagles won flat out. They’re my least favorite team but they won, no questions. It’s boring ball but Hurts and Barkley are solid players and deserve their success and then some.
I have no defense of the Bills/Chiefs. Allen got that first down and anybody acting like it wasn’t the case simply is living in ignorance. They had their chances to stop them on D and there’s no telling what would have happened if they had the first down, but I’ve completely given up on it being fairly called on close games. I am not an avid Chiefs hater by any means.

I’ll watch just because it’s time I get to spend with my family and there will be good food.
I find myself watching less and less sports these days. I used to live for CFB Saturdays, NBA playoffs, etc. The older I get, the more that MOST of it is unwatchable. Even if I felt the Chiefs won clean, I wouldn’t be interested. As the year wore on, I would spend Sunday nights and Monday nights watching sitcom reruns on TV Land. In hindsight, it looks like a better investment of my time.

I don’t want to hate the Chiefs. Mahomes and Reid seem like good dudes. I could do without the Kelce yelling, but it’s whatever. Why the NFL has buddied up to them is beyond me.

What about watching it for the Commercials? Might be the last time to see Trans/Gays/Mixed Relationships in 30 second Super Bowl spots for a long while.

Football fans unite! Show the NFLOL that we are tired of this rigged crap. No one should watch the Stupor Bowel this year. Make ratings tank to show Roger Badell that we aren't going to tolerate this anymore!

Imagine thinking you have to watch every game
I probably watch less than 10 percent of NFL games these days. The super bowl this year doesn't interest me so I won't watch.
Not that hard of a concept.

I’m sure there’s people who’ll enjoy it, but I have zero interest in watching a Chiefs vs Eagles Super Bowl.

I’ll watch it because I love this sport too much not to but i am highly annoyed with this outcome.

The Super Bowl is kind of gay for football fans. It's too long, with the extended commercial breaks and halftime shows, and those have each sucked recently.
The stadium is also mostly filled with people who got corporate tickets, instead of real fans of the teams. The environment is stale.
It's a good excuse for a house party, I'll give you that. But I haven't paid attention to the actual game in years.

I think it's kinda neat to be able to see a team try for a threepeat with their opponent looking for revenge from being the first leg of the threepeat. I'm gonna just flip a coin and throw ten bucks on the spread and get drunk and enjoy

I’m not an NFL conspiracy theorist, but tonight may have broken me. The overrule of the spot was pathetic.
I’m convinced that the NFL is in bed with Vegas. It’s all about making $$.

I won’t be watching. It won’t be on until midnight in Germany and there’s no use in staying up to watch these two teams
Posted on 1/26/25 at 11:25 pm to SelaTiger
I will be watching. Biggest superbowl in decades. Can witness history and 3 peat. Never been done. Would.be amazing to see greatness!

Only time I have never watched the SB was when the Rams played the Patriots after the No Call PI.
Did something else that Sunday. I will do the same on Feb whatever day it comes on.
This game has zero interest for me. I hope someone turns the lights off in the Dome for good this time.

It was close enough (less than half a ball) to call it one way or another from the sidelines. The problem is the only angle they showed us that would have been definitive there was a KC defender's helmet in the way. As it was you couldn't see the ball otherwise the angle would have been perfect and the look would have been clear enough to overturn. From one sideline view Allen's body was in the way, from the other Jones' (#95) head was in the way. I feel like he absolutely got the ball there but there is zero definitive proof either way from the angles they showed on TV. Overturning requires more than an assumption.
Keep in mind those zoomed-in slow-mo camera angles from the sidelines were the same angle the side and line judges would have seen just in real time. You can't even be 100% from the video. If you want to argue the line judge gave KC a 50/50 call then that is fair but you have to give every 50/50 call to someone.
