A lot more than anyone would be willing to pay.

No amount of money could make me watch the WNBA. It’s a terrible league full of awful people

I’ll watch LSU from time to time though

The problem with women’s basketball is literally the women who play it. Ever heard of anyone bitching about women’s volleyball or softball as unwatchable? Hell even women’s soccer’s if you can get past the ridiculous politics they’ve injected into it is watchable… so what do I mean? For starters no one wants to watch grotesquely tall, weirdly proportioned women run up and down the court missing layups. Secondly, they wear the most unflattering uniforms of any female sport on the planet. It’s a league of hardcore feminists lesbians who play the game dressed like hardcore lesbians. Imagine how unwatchable the NBA would be if the majority of the rosters were 7’+ tall, slow, semi athletic Eastern European white guys. That’s women’s basketball

Facts are facts whether you want to admit it or not. Women generally don’t support professional women’s sports at same level/ intensity men support men’s sports. That means you need male viewership and attendance to grow the sport. The only way you’re going to significantly do that is by lowering the goal, reducing the average height of the player and ditching the lesbian prison attire for something a little more flattering. There’s a reason men will watch women’s volleyball, track, gymnastics, soccer and softball but universally deride the WNBA.

Nothing. Those young ladies work extremely hard to perfect their craft. I won't shut down my previous plans to sit and be glued in front of my TV. Having said that, unfortunately in this day and age, the product has become too political. If you're a black or white straight woman, that doesn't fit the narrative. I'm old enough to have watched LA Tech v Cheyney with Mulkey and co winning the 1st women's NC. Back then, it was one team vs another. Nobody judged the sexual preferences of 19-20 year olds. I always wonder what Coach Summitt, Hogg, and Gunter would say about today's game. I root for the Lady Tigers, and don't really care about the distractions. Social Media is evil

what else is happening at the time?

a six pack will probably be enough if there isn't anything else going on.

I went to Tulane lady Wave games. Cheap beer and snacks. Sat with my friends. I don't know a lot about basketball (never got into it) but if I can drink beer and talk with some buds while something is going on in the background....I'm probably in....

You know those are someone’s daughters and they are student athletes who work extremely hard. You may dislike the product, but you should be more respectful. There is no reason to be that mean spirited to women who you don’t know. It makes you small and petty.

Nothing. I enjoyed watching it back in the Pokey-Seimone days and was excited when Mulkey came to LSU.

But I love sports in general so if there’s any game on, I’m usually watching it. I’ve never watched a WNBA game though.
