Five for me.

IV 1970
Chiefs over Vikings

VI 1972
Cowboys over Dolphins

IX 1975
Steelers over Vikings

Those were the three played in Tulane Stadium.
I also attended the first one in the Superdome which was the first one ever played indoors, and that was

XII 1978
Cowboys over Broncos

Then, for one of the greatest thrills of my life, I was in Miami for

XLIV 2010
Saints over Colts

Does attendance via Astral Projection count?

What were the differences in atmosphere (i.e. corporate sterilization) between your first few in the 70s and the last one in 2010?

I worked concessions at the lemonade stand for the Ravens 49ers. Plaza level, I watched the entire game, made like 5 lemonades and left the stand.

I usually pull my yacht up to it whenever it’s in a coastal town

Zero, but my dad did attend two. Dolphins vs Vikings at Rice Stadium and the Steelers vs. Vikings at Tulane Stadium.

Like night and day. I still have my ticket stub for the 1970 game. It cost $15.

It was obviously a big football game in the 70s but it was not close to being the huge event that it is today.

But I will say this about the atmosphere for the 2010 game. The party and celebratory atmosphere the Saints fans brought was off the charts, both in the stadium, and on South Beach on Friday and Saturday nights. It was like Mardi Gras times 10.

All the SBs played in old Tulane Stadium. The first two were some cold games. I was sitting in the upper deck north end zone. The temp, wind and and that old steel stadium.

Super Bowl XXIV

49ers 55
Broncos 10

also went to a lot of Sugar Bowls in the late 80s/early 90's with my Dad before he died.

His boss use to have a line on seats at the Dome for whatever. We went to Saints games and Sugar bowls mostly.

I was only seven when I went to the Super Bowl but remember Jerry Rice and John Taylor both catching long TD passes.

We were rooting for the Broncos, but it didn't take long to realize who was winning that game

I think it was 30-3 or 27-3 at the half.

Despite my team making to the big game many times over the last decade, I ain't paying that much money. My friends dad rented out a bar for us to have a watch party for Super Bowl 57 against the Eagles in Kansas City. Put down some cash, but way less than travel + two SB tickets. Was a great and stressful time. I will always remember it.

2.

2007 Tyree catch

2014 Legion of boom thrashing of manning

Csb but my grandads best friend growing up was a higher up in the NFL security from the very beginning and he got him tickets to the Super Bowl every year up until 2007 (paid face value). My grandad went to every Super Bowl from 1967 to 2004 when he got too old. Gave the last few years to his kids/grandkids and my dad and I went.

2014 my sister was living in NYC, won 2 raffle Super Bowl tickets in the upper deck and invited me.

One

Lights went out in the Superdome. I attributed it to bad luck. Have no desire to attend another.
