rockets wasted a pretty good offensive effort from Priogioni as well...that shite doesn't come around often.

The Clippers were an awful draw for Houston.

Everyone at this point is a tough draw. The injured Grizzlies would be easier I guess. But the Warriors, Clippers, and Spurs all would have been tough.

No. But LeBron would. Durant would. You conveniently left out players who have definitely done that before
Not conveniently. I left out Lebron on purpose cause I figured the topic would become Lebron-centric. I don't think Lebron does this, he always has the ball in his hands late, and when he passes, it's usually the correct decision, I've always disagreed with the thought that he is passive under pressure, he's done a fantastic job of disproving that myth the last few years as well.

Durant does have that issue, and I've talked about it a lot, and called him on it and said it's not a good thing, so I think i'm again, being consistent.

There's exit ramps between completely freaking out and constantly insinuating the Rockets will definitely win, no worires whatsoever.

Coincidentally it was the first time Coach McHale put Ariza on him the whole game. Just saying bro. Add that gimp hamstring to it and I wouldn't be expecting a whole lot outta Paul this series.

I'm sure Popovich thought the same thing in the 2nd half of Game 7 with the defensive POY at his disposal.

This has been Harden's problem in his playoff career.
Yea, I really don't get how HOU fans can have zero concern whatsoever. Doesn't even mean you think they'll lose, but the nonchalant, "we got this" attitude is silly.

I mean, game 2 isn't a must win, but it is pretty darn close, but no biggie I guess.

Leonard can't guard Paul. He's too quick for him. I was saying that during Game 1 of the series on this board. Ariza can guard Paul. Leonard is a better overall defender, but he guards the 2-4, where Ariza is better on the 1-3.

When the Clippers are executing their pick and roll/pop, and Griffin is playing well and hitting shots (which he has been), no one can guard Paul.

If Paul is healthy, he's gonna be really hard to guard no matter what. I seriously doubt that the Clippers are worried about Chris Paul being shut down in this series.

Is there anything more fitting for the Rockets franchise than giving out playoff shirts that state "Conference Finals" as the goal?

Rockets laid an egg and I'm happy it's out of their system. Just have to come out and finish quarters and halves stronger.

how many franchises have won titles in you lifetime? how many have not? tbh there's not many things that could be more less fitting.

HOU is Clutch City, their goal is championships. If it was the Pels or some team who hasn't won squat you may have a point..

For the record, New Orleans has won a championship much more recently than Houston.
