Swagger has done it a few times.

The numbers support me. There is a reason that Houston has a very low avg. point differential, considering their record. BAD LOSSES. They just happen with this team.

Don't worry bro I will be here when Barnes and Rivers combine for 6-20 and Jones, Brewer, and Smith all have good nights and Houston rolls. This season tells us that the HOU complimentary players are better than the LAC ones. You'll see that play out over the course of the series.

Weren't you saying that HOU less Harden is better than LAC less Paul? Yes you were, that's because you know that HOU has the better complimentary players. And now it's 'AMAZING' to think that HOU other guys won't play better?

Your self awareness is in the gutter.

YOU said they were playing uninspired.

You can parce semantics, but saying they "gave zero fricks" is the same as saying they were "uninspired"

Paul/Griffin > Harden/Howard

I think we'll see this play out a lot of the series, as well.

All these things that should concern, they don't for some reason.

Pretty sure point diff is one of the better, if not best, predictors of future performance.

It's close, def the top 2 duos in these playoffs. With Paul being hurt HOU gets the edge.

They are, I don't think anyone would disagree with that.

The Clippers bench is woeful, but benches matter less in the playoffs.

And I know Paul's value to the Clippers.

It's amazing to mindlessly say 1 team will get better, the other will get worse, ignore the best player on LAC not playing, and that be your assessment. That's a terrible assessment.

And this is more important than bench players.

Yeah. But we are arguing over what did that. I think this Houston team just does that. I don't know if it's coaching, Moreyball, players, or what. But this team just starts to look uninspired. But it had nothing to do with not taking a playoff game seriously. It had to do with getting really uncomfortable. The team came out playing their asses off and turning the ball over like crazy. Then they slowed down and lost a ton of energy. When the second in the running in the MVP has 9 turnovers, he's going to lose some aggressiveness. He probably felt like he couldn't hang onto the ball. I can't wait until Game 2, so we can stop overreacting about one fricking game.

Again, this is something that should seriously concern you if you think that's true.

You think Steph Curry is gonna stop shooting if he misses a bunch of 3s and lose aggressiveness? Would Westbrook lose aggressiveness? Would Paul stop attacking?

Great players have the ability to forget about that and continue to play their game, but you're admitting that in your opinion Harden couldn't do that, and it's no big deal. Very contradicting type stuff.

Who is the best rebounder and shot blocker left in the playoffs? DWIGHT DWIGHT

Who's the MVP runner up? Harden

So you've got the best defender and the MVP runner up I'd say that's tough to beat.

Yeah and everyone else will be there when CP3 steps on the floor for the first time.

No. But LeBron would. Durant would. You conveniently left out players who have definitely done that before. I'm not 100% pleased with how Harden played, but I'm also not going to completely freak out. He has been clutch all year. And he will be clutch this round.

The Clippers were an awful draw for Houston. The Rockets really blew a big opportunity last night, and it sure as hell looked to me like they thought they were going to cruise to an easy victory in the 2nd quarter without CP3 on the floor. Sloppy ball. Goofing around. All on their home floor. Boom is right. The role players will play better. It's by no means over, but if there was a player ever built to neutralize D12, it's DJ.

7-21 5 assists 3 turnovers

Pauls stat line the last time they played HOU. Coincidentally it was the first time Coach McHale put Ariza on him the whole game. Just saying bro. Add that gimp hamstring to it and I wouldn't be expecting a whole lot outta Paul this series.
