Honestly, the injury to Tua last night just really hit home.

It’s just a game, and I’ve invested too much money into sports for entertainment. I love it, but these dudes lives are on the line in the future after they retire taking all those hits.

He will be fine everybody is going full "cancel all football" and "Tuas career is over". It's so dumb. He'll be back in 2 or 3 weeks.

As they do in boxing, MMA, and the cast of Jackass.

They are not really doing it to entertain us - that’s just an effect. They are doing it in pursuit of fame, money, and pussy.

Let them fight.

Dan Patrick went off in his opening segment. Dropped a G** damn in there on the subject.

The way he was going off you would have thought it was his son out there that got hurt.

Not making fun of the injury myself. I've had a few in my lifetime and they really suck.

There are a lot of jobs that are dangerous. You mitigate the danger by implementing regulations and paying fair compensation.

You can't completely eradicate danger.

You seem like the type of person who is still social distancing and wearing a mask to be safe.

All the liberal cuck podcasters and "journalists" are going to milk this bc they hate Dolphins Owner Stephen Ross, who backed Trump with lavish Manhattan and Miami fundraisers in both 2016 and 2020. They want him out.

The crazy part is that you had people on here who had a history of calling Tua soft. Dude came back from multiple devastating injuries. He had a concussion last week and had he sat out last night, people on here would’ve been on him for not being tonight enough. But he played because he didn’t want to let his teammates down and help his team win.

They get paid very very well to play a game. I don’t fell sorry for any of them.

No one forced him to choose football. He bumped his head, little rest and he will be fine.

I don’t get this take.

Police risk their lives showing up at crime scenes for a lot less money.

Lineman can get shocked for a lot less money but you still use electricity

The guys on that field are getting paid a hell of a lot more than say the roughnecks on deep water horizon but you still use gasoline

No one feels bad about feeding into other dangerous professions but we are supposed to feel bad because the dolphins made a dumb decision?

Shades of legendary QB Jay Cutler who played through legit injuries and was still called "soft"

So we should ignore safety because other professions are also dangerous?

Are you stupid or something

Did you not know football was a contact sport before everyone started crying over a football player encountering contact like a bunch of Grade A Pussies

The contracts QB's are getting these days dwarfs any injury concerns the players know is out there.
It will always be that way.
Contracts top 10 picks get is chump change compared to that second contract that is generational wealth.

The fact that his injury last week was covered up as a back and ankle injury and he got his head bashed again this week is grounds for people to get fired. He’ll be lucky if he doesn’t have permanent neurological damage.

We should shame and punish the dolphins and keep watching the teams who do it right. I don’t have to personally feel bad/guilty and lose interest in a sport because someone got hurt knowing that that was a risk.
