Impatient cop met an entitled athlete. Neither party did anything to de-escalate the situation

Nobody wants to cooperate.

It only seemed like one cop was being a bit of a jackass.
Was a really weird situation with Campbell (assumed it was him because he made a comment about getting cuffed). One cop telling him to leave, the other cop not backing down and insisting on a license. What is someone supposed to do there? In the limited video posted in OP, does not look like any of the 6? cops took charge of the scene which can lead to some really bad outcomes

How would they see if he had his seatbelt on with those tinted windows?
Actually he was speeding with his window down, cop pulled up next to him, told him to pull over for speeding, Tyreek replies "how fast was I going", pulls over, as cop is dismounting the motorcycle, that is when he rolls window up, cop gives 2 taps on the window and then thats where it went off the rails.

but it only got worse when Hill decided not to listen and keep the window down.
ETA: First I’ve seen of the longer video from the bike cop. I still believe the officer instigated the entire thing and Hill did nothing wrong.

Thanks for that clip. Yeah, so OP is a little off here. Had nothing to do with the seatbelt and everything to do with Tyreek being an a-hole.

"Don't knock on my window like that"
McLaren windows fragile?

Tyreek Hill was lawfully pulled over for speeding through a construction zone (a crime). Cop was probably just going to lecture him then Hill blew him off and rolled up the window and disobeyed police orders during a lawful traffic stop.
As much as you may hate it, if you get pulled over for committing a crime on city roads you are compelled to get out of the car when they tell you. If you don't, they have every right and reason to pull you out by force and if they do that they're absolutely going to cuff you.
Easy way to avoid this? Don't speed. But if you do speed and get pulled over, you answer the questions, give them your paperwork, and take the lecture or the online course or pay the $150 fine and go about your day and life.

Im surprised players don't meet up at a discreet location and get bussed in with an escort. Seems like a better situation than 53 sport cars trying to fight traffic to get to the stadium.

They can't randomly release data before someone is convicted. That's not how this works.

you couldn't be more disingenuous if you wanted to.

Cops were jerks
How?
They pull him over
Instruct him to move his car forward.
Cop dismounts, approaches the car.
Tyreek rolls his window up, cop lightly knocks on the window and instructs him to roll it down so they can talk
Tyreek rolls the window down and tells the cop not to know on his window, repeatedly, then rolls it back up
He gets yanked out of the car a few seconds later….how long are cops expected to play games with an entitled jackass who isn’t listening to them?
I’ve seen so many videos where cops waste time going back and forth with some dipshit that lacks situational awareness, talking in circles for ten minutes only to do what they should have done in the first place. Maybe emergency response times would be better if cops handled stops like this more often.

That was Jonnu Smith, another Dolphin.
Calais Campbell came up to the scene from the other direction.

Did hill immediately roll his window down when the cops asked him three times to do so?
And yes, reauxl, you do have to follow all lawful orders from an officer during a traffic stop

Hill was a complete fricking disobeying a-hole to start everything off. Barking a-hole orders to cops, asking why he was pulled over like a dick, rolling up the window on the officer out of disrespect and not obeying simple orders of rolling it back down. Tyreke couldn't have been a bigger dick if he tried. He was speeding and didn't have a seatbelt on. Shut the frick up and let the cops do his thing. but no... tyreke has to act gangsta and be a complete fricking lack of respect thug.
