You can feel bad for multiple people at once. She is undoubtedly the biggest loser in this and if I had some sort of “sympathy cap” it would all go to her and her family first.
Feeling bad for him doesn’t mean you think he should be a winner in this situation.

The RAV4 was hurled 570 feet down Rainbow Boulevard. Tina Tintor, 23, and her dog, Maxi, were killed—despite the efforts of good Samaritans to free them.
“I thought for sure we were going to be able to do something. The fire was so small at the time,” Tony Rodriguez told KTNV. “It just grew fast. Really fast. There was one person with a fire extinguisher, a county worker. That didn’t work. It wasn’t enough. It was just so fast."
He said Tintor was not killed instantly.
“She was actually still alive. You could hear her breathing. She had her seat belt on and I was trying to cut that away. Trying to grab them by their shoulders and pull them out but that wasn’t working,” Rodriguez said. “They were pinned. The seat belt was on, the airbags were in the way, and the door was jammed.”

I see idiots driving like this constantly, can happen to any of us. Just an absolutely awful way to suffer, makes me ill thinking about it.

Ya I've read those, just weird that the guy there first responding helping didn't mention it at all or that she was conscious, just that he could see she was still breathing.

if she was trying to cut the seat belt then id have to guess she was probably alert and screaming. while Ruggs sits on a curb doing nothing, which makes those that feel bad for him look dumb.

That's what I was thinking. They tried to get her out while she was knocked out and she came to amid the flames. Even more brutal if that's the case.
